Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

There were only a handful of birthdays of not this week, the first belonging to lillunatik, Darkara, Morior, Parkman202, microcom93, PIENATION and karnvir2001. After that, Tigurus Fay, binsurf and intae12 had birthdays that came and went.
General Chat
While the forum has threads dedicated to video stimuli and music, it was the sounds of space that was on the mind of kyonides who reported about the newly released NASA audio samples from the dark side of the moon recorded decades earlier There were two suggestions about where the audio had originated, but these were joke comments by both DerVVulfman and Ahzoh. What wasn't a joke was that Bounty Hunter Lani found herself blocked for a week by Facebook with no explanation. She had contacted them, but they refused to answer claiming they choose not to usurp anyone's authority. The only thoughts on the matter came by way of kyonides who queried if she said anything political. DerVVulfman challenged that concept as he retorted he has been posting fairly political links of his own, while Ahzoh too made some political suggestions in Facebook himself. Wishing to steer the conversation away from politics, Bounty Hunter Lani suggested the use of a program mentioned by ThioJoe which has been aiding in her sleep. And with more rest, she's been able to be more productive with her game's development of which she's decided to release smaller chucks of her game while wishing to avoid negative feedback. Of that, she and kyonides had a difference of opinion while he noted that '20 goofy character in the same game' wouldn't be appreciated. Bounty Hunter Lani queried where he inferred that there would be that many goofy characters, and returned that unsubstantiated remarks such as his would be why she's considered not posting anymore about her game. Ahzoh thought she was jumping onto the 'takes it personal' train for a time, but the thread later changed towards a more Ozzy Osbourn related train, DerVVulfman actually quoting from the very first stanza. And insofar as critique, kyonides noted how there is a lack of continuity with todays comics as it appears the settings are being constantly rebooted and writers have to rebuild everything once again. But regarding comical characters, kyonides had some thoughts about two side-character henchmen from the Slayers anime series.
A while back, you could have asked Bounty Hunter Lani the question of "What are YouTubing?" to find her visiting the Gamers Joint channel for regular Kingdom Hearts videos. However, that has slowed down. Still, she found that the channel's host did react to a trailer made for a Playstation 4 indie game, and professed the things wrong with both it and Sony's lack of quality control. But before that, Bounty Hunter Lani revisited ThioJoe as he comically and effectively trolled a scam artist.

This week, the forum games board received two humorous threads. Old they may be, both the Computer Proverbs and You Know Your GM's Evil When... were found and posted by DerVVulfman.

To keep up with the projects of your friends, we at Save-Point made it easy for you to find out What's up with your fellow RMers, such as the reaction that Ahzoh had towards the creature battlers that Steel Beast 6Beets posted last week. However, things have slowed down for Ahzoh and Melana due to PC issues and real life time constraints.
Another week had passed by. And with it, KasperKalamity had passed by the Maps and screenshots thread with not one but three new shots from his game. The first rendering was of an expanded version of his lake side summer camp. The second render may wet your appetite for a new dining experience. And the third was a revisit of the neighborhood. Steel Beast 6Beets had some speculations about the nature of Camp Willow Lake, and felt that there was an Earthbound feel to the construction site in the neighborhood map.
Upcoming Projects
A new character has made an appearance in Bounty Hunter Lani's game, Destiny of End. Iron Caesar may look to be a great warrior, but looks are deceiving as the armor he has is all he has going for him in combat. Lackluster with a weapon at best, he functions in support roles as he made himself Tina's protector and guardian. And while he may appear cool, his quotes and manner of speech reveal his awkwardness.

To more easily identify characters or objects within your RPGMaker XP project, kyonides released his new script, KEvents XP. With it, you can now create NPCs or targeted events that render their name or a custom icon. While it was only the middle of the week it was posted, it wasn't long before it was updated with a new version, available in both English and Spanish.
Meanwhile, kyonides continued to enhance the immersive Kolloseum States XP system with Zombie states where the infected will be lumberingly slow and include a Pestience damage effect. The system also includes a feature to make more realistic assassins, and another that can make some enemies more difficult to handle.
It had been over a year since DerVVulfman posted the edited version of AnimalX3's Herb Digging MiniGame, only for Melana to find a bug that didn't allow one to collect more than one herb at a time. DerVVulfman found the segment that did not correctly deliver the number of herbs configured, and later answered RASHIDA12's queries on how to alter sound volumes and the victory effect.
And whether for RPGMaker MV or RPGMaker VXAce, DoubleX had some updates to make. For both the RPGMaker MV State Triggers and RPGMaker VXAce State Triggers systems, he reworked how states can be included in the arguments that call upon both STCX and STAX. Likewise, both items and skills calls using ITCH and ITAX can now be included in the calls within the updated versions of both RPGMaker MV's Item Triggers and RPGMaker VXAce's Item Triggers. However, DoubleX also fixed an issue with the VXAce version involving how it passed ITCX and ITAX values.
After that, DoubleX found and fixed the issue where battlers did not step forward when using the Unison Item plugin for RPGMaker MV when they were supposed to. A new video was included in the post to display its use in conjunction with the YEP_X_BattleSysCTB.
Script Requests
This week, SIletrea was wondering if anyone was familiar with a dancing minigame script similar in nature to Dance Dance Revolution, except where you see the player dance in competition with A.I. opponents. Admittedly, she got the inspiration for the request from a game called Shantae where the hero does compete in a dance-off minigame to earn some coin, but does Siletrea is not looking for a full recreation as the dancing animation that transpires in the original game would be quite tedious to sprite. Still, she has been on the look for such a system or one similar and would greatly appreciate any news. In responce, DerVVulfman said he couldn't find any traces of ones he knew existed. At the same time, he also asked her which system she was requesting it be made as he found she asked within an RPGMaker VXAce board while she flagged the request here as an RPGMaker XP system. When she returned, she replied that she had switched over to RPGMaker XP, had been using DerVVulfman's scripts and offered to send him a demo. He responded that his time had been a bit short of late, but had hopes that he or someone could render such a script as an evented one had been made some time ago.
Resources Database
For those who enjoyed the enemies found in this Japanese-Only game, Steel Beast 6Beets put up a new thread to display the Wizardry Dimguel Monster collection for XP. However, he feels some monsters were too big to handle in the screen and some graphics scaling may be needed.
