SAN DIEGO, CA—(Marketwired – Feb 5, 2015) – PURE Bioscience, Inc. (
OTCQB
:
PURE
), creator of the patented silver dihydrogen citrate (SDC) antimicrobial, announced today that it has signed a non–exclusive agreement with All American Chemical Company Inc. to distribute PURE® Hard Surface disinfectant to its network of more than 175+ food and beverage manufacturers/processors. The arrangement broadens and deepens the sales reach for PURE's powerful antimicrobial products.

All American Chemical Company Inc. is a leading, family owned company that has been providing cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, state of the art antimicrobial interventions, and sanitation solutions to the food and beverage industries for over 30 years. All American's goal is to “keep food safe from factory to fork” by building comprehensive solutions that create safe food and beverage environments.

EVOLUTION FROM CUSTOMER TO DISTRIBUTOR
Impressed with the unparalleled efficacy of the non–toxic SDC antimicrobial after using it last fall, All American Chemical Company Inc. sought to expand beyond using PURE Hard Surface disinfectant and become a distributor for the product.

All American Chemical successfully remediated a Listeria contamination in a shuttered food processing facility, utilizing a cleaning and sanitizing program incorporating PURE Hard Surface disinfectant.

The FDA subsequently cleared both the equipment and the facility for food production after remediation.

In December, a White Paper detailing the remediation was published by Dr. James. L. Marsden, Ph.D., Distinguished Professor–Food Safety and Security Kansas State University.

INCLUSION OF PURE HARD SURFACE IN PROTOCOLS
Having developed a reputation for partnering with customers to solve problems, All American Chemical also provides technology and consulting services and implementation support to retailers and food manufacturers producing private brand products.

In addition to distributing PURE Hard Surface, All American Chemical will look to include and recommend the powerful antimicrobial as an integral part of the cleaning and sanitizing protocols it develops for its customers.

Sam J. Saltzman, President of All American Chemical, said, “We believe the best way to ensure a safe manufacturing environment for our customers in food and beverage production is to proactively create a holistic food safety culture. We have first–hand experience with the robust efficacy and the ease and safety of using PURE Hard Surface. It is a perfect fit into our tool box of pathogen solutions.”

Hank R. Lambert, CEO of PURE Bioscience, added, “All American Chemical is broadening our products' reach into a wider range of food manufacturers/processors to which we wouldn't typically have ready access — providing a path to faster market penetration. We have shipped an initial order, and PURE Hard Surface is already being evaluated by customers through All American Chemical.”

About PURE Bioscience, Inc.
PURE Bioscience, Inc. is focused on developing and commercializing our proprietary antimicrobial products primarily in the food safety arena — providing solutions to the health and environmental challenges of pathogen and hygienic control. Our technology platform is based on patented stabilized ionic silver, and our initial products contain silver dihydrogen citrate, or SDC. SDC is a broad–spectrum, non–toxic antimicrobial agent, which offers 24–hour residual protection and formulates well with other compounds. As a platform technology, SDC is distinguished from existing products in the marketplace because of its superior efficacy, reduced toxicity and the inability of bacteria to form a resistance to it. PURE is headquartered in El Cajon, California (San Diego metropolitan area). Additional information on PURE is available at www.purebio.com.
