KANSAS CITY, MO—(Marketwired – April 22, 2015) – Highland Dental Clinic, a premier Kansas City and Liberty cosmetic dentistry practice, will open a new facility on May 4.

The new facility will offer additional space for surgical suites. The building will be a stand–alone structure that will include two private operating rooms equipped with the latest anesthesia technology, such as video laryngoscopy. Dr. Klein, the owner of Highland Dental Clinic, says it will allow his practice to go above and beyond to help patients.

“We want to offer the highest possible quality dental care to our patients,” Dr. Klein said. “That begins and ends with helping our patients feel safe and comfortable.”

Highland Dental Clinic offers four types of sedation dentistry — nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral conscious sedation, IV sedation and general anesthesia. General anesthesia, the heaviest form of sedation, is provided to patients with the highest levels of anxiety or fear of the dentist and is not commonly offered in dental practices. Dr. Klein believes his practice has a unique ability to create a comfortable atmosphere for his patients. “Having two operating rooms and an anesthesiologist on staff is quite special,” said the Kansas City dentist. “Not many other practices will go to such lengths to be able to offer everything under one roof and in one visit. Our patients really benefit from being able to take care of even substantial procedures promptly and comfortably.”

Dr. Klein's staff also is trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. With the new facility, patients also can expect more space for their comfort, additional parking spaces and more room for new technology.

Highland Dental Clinic, 9764 North Ash Ave., provides general dentistry, cosmetic dental treatment, endodontic therapy and sedation dentistry. The dental practice offers same–day emergency services, same–day crowns, same–day dentures, root canals, veneers, low cost dental implants, full mouth reconstructions, teeth whitening, Fastbraces and Invisalign. Dr. Klein provides all levels of sedation, including nitrous oxide, oral sedation and IV sedation.

Dr. Klein is a dental implant dentist who can restore a patient's smile and chewing ability in just one day through affordable dental care. Sedation dentistry allows him to serve patients who have a fear of the dentist or those who need multiple procedures completed in one visit. Highland Dental Clinic also has two board–certified physician anesthesiologists on staff that provide deep sedation and general anesthesia for dental surgery. No other dental offices in the area offers general anesthesia.

Dr. Klein was introduced to dentistry by his father, Dr. Tubey Klein, who has practiced for more than three decades in Missouri. Dr. Klein began his practice in Kansas City seven years ago. He received his bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Missouri in 2000 and then his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri in 2004. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Greater Kansas City Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and Missouri Dental Association and has received advanced training at The Dawson Academy in comprehensive dentistry.

At Highland Dental Clinic, Dr. Klein uses the latest technology to serve his dedicated patients. His office includes a cone beam scanner and E4D technology. With this technology, Dr. Klein can provide Kansas City All on 4 dental implants in just one visit. He also oversees patients' treatment from start to finish and does not refer services like dental implants or root canals to other dental practices.
