A bit more about Bob…

As Senior Director of Postal Affairs for Satori Software, a Neopost company, Bob Schimek serves as primary liaison between Satori Software and USPS on technical matters affecting the company’s mailing solutions, which include CASS and PAVE certified software, integrated 48-month NCOALink processing and post-sort solutions. Schimek applies his 26-plus years of mailing industry experience to provide product management and strategic direction for Satori Software’s mailing business.

An acknowledged thought leader on postal issues, Schimek represents Satori Software and its customers at many postal industry associations. At MTAC, where he also represents IDEAlliance, he has lead several MTAC Work Groups and Task Teams and currently is the industry leader for Mail Preparation and Entry focus area. At IDEAlliance, he serves as the Chair for the Mail.dat specification, and is an active member of MSDG (Mailing Software Developers Group). At PostCom for 2015 he serves as a Board of Directors member, on the Executive Committee as the Executive Vice Chairman, and leads the Postal Operations committee. Schimek has been elected as PostCom Chairman of the Board and will serve a two year term for 2016 – 2017. He is a former AMSP and EPICOMM board member. Schimek works collaboratively with both industry and USPS to help ensure specifications meet the needs of the industry and the USPS Intelligent Mail initiatives.
