Celebs Greet Sarah, Dolphy On Their Birthday

MANILA, Philippines – The Twitter-verse exploded with birthday greetings on July 25 for two of the industry’s finest gems—the late Comedy King Dolphy and the Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo.
Although her Twitter account has been inactive for months now, Sarah’s online presence was still felt when fellow singers and fans sent their wishes for her via Twitter. As of this writing, the hashtag “Happy Birthday Sarah Geronimo” remains on the seventh spot of the top trending topics.
Singers Juris Fernandez and Callalily frontman Kean Cipriano gave a simple birthday greeting while fashion designer Rajo Laurel lauded Sarah’s character.
"Happy birthday, Sarah Geronimo! I wish for more of your dreams to come true! You deserve all the success because your beautiful inside and out!" posted Rajo.
Young singer Rhap Salazar wrote, "Happy Birthday Sarah Geronimo.. Thanks for being a great friend/Ate since 2005.. You deserve all the blessings.. Love you."
Host Kat de Castro gave a meaningful message to the famed singer.
“Happy Birthday Sarah Geronimo! Stay sweet, lovely and humble. Mwah!,” she said and followed with, “For you dear Sarah G, I wish you freedom. You deserve all the happiness in the world. ”
Sarah is in Bangkok for a TV commercial shoot, according to a post on the official account of Viva Entertainment, the talent management firm handling her career.
Dolphy remembered
Even after weeks since his passing, Dolphy remains in the hearts of many. And on his 84th birthday today, July 25, a lot of personalities still remembered him.
In her official Twitter account, Dolphy’s lifetime partner Zsa Zsa Padilla posted a photo of the veteran comedian blowing candle on a small cake.
"Happy Birthday to the "KING OF COMEDY", DOLPHY!!!! You will always be remembered," said actor Tirso Cruz III.
Taking a break from the coverage of the Judicial and Bar Council interviews, broadcaster Karen Davila posted, "…Happy Birthday Mang Dolphy! He would've been 84 today. We love you.”
Kapamilya reporter Gretchen Fullido, on the other hand, assured that Dolphy “will forever live in our hearts” and thanked him for the laughter he has given to Filipinos.
Dolphy’s co-Kapatid talent Christine Babao told her followers to “not forget to laugh today” because “Dolphy reminded us to laugh.”
Other celebrities that also used Twitter to greet the late comedian on his birthday were comedian Pooh and actor John Prats.
