About three weeks ago I wrote a post about how I was looking to bring on new monthly columnists. I’ve been so impressed with the bloggers from all over the world who have reached out, and it has been a challenging exercise (in a good way) to narrow the group to the bloggers being introduced today.
These ladies have their designs in the permanent collection of museums, have worked at the top auction houses, Sotheby’s and Christie’s, have novels being published within the year, raise families, volunteer like crazy — oh, and also write amazing blogs.
The women who will be joining us and sharing their beauty secrets, recipes, personal style, design obsessions, and hot spots with us over the next months are an incredible group. They hail from the East Coast, the West Coast, and the South. They are accountants, lawyers, designers, fiction writers, teachers, and journalists. These ladies have their designs in the permanent collection of museums, have worked at the top auction houses, Sotheby’s and Christie’s, have novels being published within the year, raise families, volunteer like crazy — oh, and also write amazing blogs.
**Note that not all columnists are included in this post, as they are still getting their bios and headshots to me, and that if someone you know is still interested they should reach out.

Lynn Byrne is the New York-based editor of Decor Arts Now, a design blog featuring decorative and fine art in the everyday. While Lynn has worn many hats in her day: lawyer, mother, interior designer, and now blogger, she credits her years at Sotheby’s as most influential on her point of view. As a young girl she proclaimed to her parents that she wanted to live a “cosmopolitan life,” and that is just what she does. You can count on Lynn to report on every stylish nook and cranny in her beloved New York City, its environs, Montauk, and the Hamptons.

Viv likes to keep things simple – her favorite outfit consists of skinny jeans, a comfy tee, a pair of sandals and a big tote – and handbags are a true vice for her.
