The ideal candidate will have a MIS degree and/or equivalent combination of IT related classes and Helpdesk work experience. Job description includes, but is not limited to:

Provides technical support to internal employees through emails, phone calls and walkups.

On call cell phone support for after-hours support.

Installs,  configures and troubleshoots desktop, laptops, servers, printers, software, hardware and network issues.

Install/upgrade operating systems and application software.

Diagnose Windows XP/Vista/Win7/Win2003/Win2008 & Office 2003/2007/2010 issues.

Diagnose and fix problems with Lenovo, Toshiba, Dell, IBM, Laptops and Desktops.

Diagnose and fix software and hardware problems with all Apple products: MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iPhones.

Diagnose and fix problems with OSX Lion & Office 2008/2011.

PC maintenance (spyware, malware removal/virus scans).

Track and maintain computer assets.

Maintain and revise support policies and procedures documents using MS Office and Visio.

Create and revise knowledgebase documentation.

Setting up new hire computer equipment.

Orders & Maintains inventory of helpdesk supplies and equipment.

BlackBerry PDA support.

ImageX imaging software.

Apple imaging software.

AD account administration

Assist users with remote access through VPN and dialup/high speed broadband.

To ensure all ticket communication & follow up is done in a timely manner based on established SLA & SLO.

Requires proactive problem solving and troubleshooting/diagnostic skills.

Ability to work on multiple projects and tickets at the same time.

Outstanding communication skills.

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Great organizational skills and stress tolerant.

A+ certifications and/or classes are a plus.

Zoho ServiceDesk, PeopleSoft skills a plus.

VmWare an d virtualizing software skills is a plus.

MS and Comptia certifications are a plus.
