High Level Job responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and support of networking infrastructure.
• Strong Project Management experience.
• Evaluate, recommend, and support the adoption of emerging technologies.
• Communicate high-level business impact to Executive Management.
• Coach and mentor technologies to other members of the technical staff.
• Business analysis, team leadership, executive communication, strategic planning, project management, and customer relationship management is required
• Participate in planning, design and manage the execution of Network related projects.
• Implement, support, and maintain 24x7 network services serving as one of the highest levels of escalation for network and security issues.
• Make ongoing recommendations of network policies and standards.
• Act as lead network architect responsible for capacity planning and configuration assessments for our routers, switches, network appliances, host, and other communication devices
• Recommend technical solutions that will enhance performance, increase redundancy and security, and add flexibility to the existing infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and fix network performance issues.
• Build next generation network architecture to accommodate growth and resilience required for hosting operations.
• Engage with product development to design products with next generation network/compression technologies.

Requirements:

• 10 years of in-depth experience with planning, designing and executing Network-related projects.
• 5 years of project management experience in a fast paced hosting environment, including budgeting, planning and resource management.
• Proven track-record managing complex multi-site network leveraging dynamic routing (BGP, EIGRP) protocols.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP networking technologies.
• Understanding of Network Storage, Backup and Replication technologies; experience with Brocade, Cisco, 3PAR plus.
• Analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with an International staff.
• Experience supporting global wide area networks.
• Customer service, team collaboration, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Demonstrated capability to triage and multitask effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to interact extensively with customers to assist with implementation/network Architecture or service-related issues.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
• CCIE or similar certification required.
