Responsibilities include:
Provide technical consultation and professional services support to site delivery teams, clients, and customers to achieve infrastructure reliability and efficient building operations for a wide range of environments (office space, clean room, manufacturing, and data center).
Develop site processes and procedures that ensure infrastructure reliability and regulatory compliance by reviewing critical SOPs, EOPs, MOPs, ensuring adequate documentation of all procedures, and evaluating effectiveness / recommending optimization.
Ensure data center OLA compliance for critical environments by conducting data center Tier assessments and developing GAP closure recommendations, on-boarding new sites, compliance reporting, Global administration for DC reporting (Abnormal Incident Reporting AIR / ALDEA), providing 7X24 Mitigation support/ response, and client (ES, GIT) interface and consultation.
Evaluate and recommend utility efficiency and cost savings actions including the deployment of green technologies, participate in regional energy savings initiatives, identify opportunities for reduced utility consumption, and represent ASD on global energy & sustainability teams.
Drive standardization of operations, identify opportunities to leverage best practices, ensure service levels and system performance align w/ customer requirements, review performance data (Periodic Infrastructure Utilization Report PIUR, Power Usage Effectiveness PUE, uptime, etc) and compare to industry benchmarks.
Develop and implement a long term asset management strategy, policy, and guidelines through which we consistently make and execute the highest value decisions about the use, care and replacement of HP Land and Building assets.
