Online college course operator Coursera plans to set up eight “learning hubs” — including one at Dominican University of California — to expand access to its free classes in traditional brick-and-mortar learning centers.
Dominican, with 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students in San Rafael, is one of only two U.S. hubs announced Wednesday and is the first located at a U.S. university. The other U.S. learning hub is at the New York Public Library.
