Mixed Sunday Social Golf

The next Sunday Mixed Golf event will be played on The Pines golf course on Sunday 7 August in a 12pm shotgun start. This event is the fifth and final qualifying round of the 2016 Winter Challenge. The day’s format will be a Team Multiplication Stableford, for which bookings are now available via the online tee sheet. The rules for this Sunday’s Mixed Golf event are as follows:

Team Multiplication Stableford

A four-player team event. Each player plays the whole round as a Stableford event. Team scoring is based on using the best three (3) scores of the team. The total score for each hole is the two (2) best scores added together and MULTIPLIED by the 3rd best score. So, if the 3rd best score is 0 the team score for the hole is 0.

Following golf, enjoy Sunday Casual Dining in Lakeview Bar, as well as the Weekly Members’ Draw.

Featured Craft Beer July – Ruby Tuesday

While thinking about a name for their new amber ale, inspiration was found from Neil Whittorn, the Matilda Bay Brewing Company Manager. It is well known that Neil’s Walkman only plays Rolling Stones tapes, and when it was connected to the brewery’s sound system, the first song that played was Ruby Tuesday.

Ruby Tuesday is made with four different specialty malts. These are short roasted at high temperatures producing crystallised starches, which then combine to produce a rich ruby hue with toffee apple and creamy malt flavours lingering on the front palate.

Schooner $7 | Pot $4.5
