As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for closing new business contracts and renewing and growing an existing client base. The primary responsibility of this role is to engage with C-suite level executives, where you will manage the complete sales process with senior-most executives within an assigned function, meet revenue goals by closing new membership accounts and create lead-generation campaigns and utilise virtual sales techniques (cold-calling, e-mailing, etc.) to prospects and build new business opportunities. You will constantly gather business intelligence on prospective companies to identify and qualify new sales opportunities and work with colleagues to manage a growing portfolio of existing accounts. The ideal degree educated (2:1 preferred) candidate will have 4-5+ years relevant sales experience gained selling concepts in a technology or BI based environment. You will have a proven and strong record of both account management and business development success, possess strong presentation, organisational, communication and closing skills, both by phone and face-to-face and have highly developed business acumen with the ability to understand the wider issues of the business community. You will have a proven ability to deliver corporate level presentations to senior level managers / directors and prepare quotations, proposals and other correspondence to prospective customers.  Critically, you will have strong negotiation skills combined with excellent oral and written communication skills.

The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive package including a base salary of 45-55k with an uncapped OTE of 75-85k along with an overly generous benefits package.
