Our client is a leading standalone global events company, dedicated to enhancing customer value. Through extending their international footprint and exploring growth opportunities they deliver outstanding event content and operational excellence for visitors and exhibitors worldwide. Due to growth, they now have an exciting opening for an Account Manager to join their London based Event Sales Team, which focuses on a leading fashion/retail event.

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for selling a mix of stand space and sponsorship, content and digital packages to a range of companies from start-up solutions providers through to some of the largest fashion and accessories companies throughout the UK, and globally. Sales revenue will be won through a mix of face to face and telephone sales, initially in the UK although there is tremendous scope to grow internationally. Sales success will come through increasing spend from existing customers, winning back lapsed clients and effectively targeting new prospects through creative, solutions based selling. Applicants will need to demonstrate a minimum of 2+ year’s proven record of success within a B2B sales environment. You will have relevant sales experience within account management, strategic selling, presentations and face to face sales. You will demonstrate the ability to maintain and grow an effective database of clients, prospects and manage a sales pipeline accordingly. This involved and exciting role requires excellent collaboration skills, an organised and motivated individual and the ability and flexibility to quickly gain a full understanding of all available market segments. Credibility and confidence are also must have requirements.

The successful candidate will be offered a base salary circa 33k with a realistic and highly achievable OTE of 45-50k plus generous benefits.
