INDIANAPOLIS -- Salem State will travel to Norwich to take on the Cadets, who are nationally-ranked No. 1, in the opening round of the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Tournament as the NCAA Committee announced the field of 12 teams on Monday. The Vikings, who won their second straight Massachusetts State Collegiate Championship (MASCAC) will face the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) champions, who are riding a 21-game unbeaten streak. The first round games will take place at Kreitzberg Arena in Northfield, Vt. on March 11h at 7:00 PM. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals to face either Oswego State or Hamilton.
