Salem County Alcohol & Drug Office/ Municipal Alliance will be hosting:
“HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT” on September 24, 2015
The Salem County Alcohol & Drug Office / Municipal Alliance will be hosting, “Hidden in Plain Sight.” The event will be held at the Salem County Community College in the Performing Arts Theater, Davidow Hall. Check-in will begin at 5:30 pm and the presentation will follow at 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm.
Hidden in Plain Sight is an interactive awareness event for Parents, Caretakers, Educators, and Youth Workers. The Salem County Prosecutor’s Office will be present to answer audience questions about current drug trends while the Cumberland County Municipal Alliance will present their program that takes a closer look on current drug trends and shares how to start a conversation with your teen. The program is an interactive exhibit designed to resemble a teenager’s bedroom, with 100+ items which may be indicative of dangerous and risky behaviors. The audience is given 30 minutes for a “snoop and search,” which allows the audience time to walk through and observe the bedroom. Due to the nature of the materials presented, no youth are permitted to attend.
