Funeral Mass to be Celebrated Friday for Father Robert Konopa, OFM
The Rev. Robert Konopa, OFM, a member of the Franciscan Friars of the Assumption, died on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the age of 63. He was well-known in the Saginaw area, having served the St. Thomas Aquinas Parish community as a deacon from 1990 to 1991 and as associate pastor from 1996 until 2008. Visitation will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with the vigil at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Rembs Funeral Home, 300 S. Oak Avenue, Marshfield, Wis. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, 1414 W. 5th Street, Marshfield, Wis.
