Episode 10 of ‘Ponderlust’ is officially up! Watch, comment, share, and send us your podcast suggestions tagged #Ponderlust because this weekly broadcast is ultimately for you :)

As a basis for our discussion on light pollution, we explored (and recommend) a compelling and informative documentary called ‘A City Dark’: A Search for Night on a Planet that Never Sleeps.

‘The City Dark’ explores the influence of artificial light on the biodiversity of life on Earth, the financial/economic impact of wasted light amongst our technologically-driven society, and the lasting impact of clouding our access to the cosmic perspective which motivated our curious ancestors to keep exploring.

“We have lived under the stars for the vast majority of our human experience. There seems to be a desire to know what the universe is like. This is the mystery we were all born into.”
- Ann Druyan
