Benefit from this Last Minute Special and save over USD $300 per person on your Uganda safari! This amazing offer includes chimpanzee trekking and gorilla tracking, exciting game viewing and has daily departures in November. Moreover, we have carefully selected some of the still relatively unknown safari lodges in Uganda, which have just opened up and are still small, with an intimate atmosphere and lots of personal attention.  This is your chance, book now!

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Overnight at Carpe Diem Guesthouse.

Carpe Diem Guesthouse is located close to the airport and offers great views of Lake Victoria. The guesthouse is small and intimate, with 4 luxury en-suite rooms and a coffee shop.

Day 2: Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park with a stop en route at one of the largest tea plantations of Uganda. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale cottages.

The cottages of Primate Lodge Kibale are located in the heart of Kibale Forest, right at the starting point for chimpanzee trekking. All of them have en-suite bathrooms and a private veranda to take in the view of the rainforest and (often!) a number of primates.

Day 3: Chimp tracking & Crater lakes

Get prepared for an exciting Primate Walk in search of the habituated chimpanzees in the tropical rainforest of Kibale Forest. In the afternoon explore the stunning surroundings with gentle hills, traditional villages and picturesque crater lakes. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale cottages.

Day 4: Kibale Forest – Queen Elizabeth National Park

We continue our journey southwards to Queen Elizabeth National Park while passing the foothills of the “Mountains of the Moon”. After checking in at your accommodation and a well tasting lunch, you will enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel with high chances of viewing elephants, buffaloes, hippos and many different bird species. Dinner and overnight at Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge.

Ihamba Safari Lodge is situated on the shores of Lake George and offers clean, spacious rooms, all with an amazing lake view. When you are not away for game viewing in the park, you can relax at the swimming pool or read a book in the comfortable lounge.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi National Park

Early start of the day as we go for a game drive on the Kasenyi plains. Look out for Uganda kobs, lions and elephants. But also small animals like the warthogs and colourful birds are amazing to watch. After this activity we continue our journey to the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Mutanda Lake Resort.

Mutanda Lake Resort was previously known as Nkuringo Safari Lodge. It is located on a peninsula in Lake Mutanda with beautiful views of the Virunga Volcanoes. With 13 en-suite rooms, all facing the lake, this accommodation offers good value for money.

Day 6: Gorilla tracking

A full day dedicated to an unforgettable meeting with the endangered mountain gorillas. It is a unique experience to watch these giant apes from such a close distance in their natural habitat. Dinner and overnight at Mutanda Lake Resort.

Day 7: Bwindi National Park – Lake Mburo National Park

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Check in at our accommodation with panoramic views over the plains, before we go for an exciting safari walk. Dinner and overnight at Mburo Eagles Nest.

Mburo Eagles Nest is located high on a hill, on the edge of Lake Mburo National Park. The lodge offers simple but comfortable safari tents including a private bathroom with eco toilet and bush shower. Do not be surprised if grazing zebras are your “wake up call” in the morning!

Day 8: Lake Mburo National Park – Entebbe – Departure

After a calm breakfast we depart the national park with a game drive en route. We proceed towards Entebbe and will make a stop at the Uganda equator. In time you will be dropped at Entebbe Airport for your international flight.
