The Leo new Moon falls on August 15 in Australia and August 14 in the United States. [I feel I should point out that the new Moon occurs at the same exact moment for the entire world, the same instance in time, but Australia (and New Zealand and other Pacific nations) are ahead of the US in our measurement of time. I've had a few people asking me about this as they think we in Australia get the lunations (new and full Moons) after those in the States].

This new Moon has a curious feel about it as we're experiencing the 40 days and 40 nights of Venus retrograde at the same time. Further to that, Venus is conjunct (together with) the Sun and the Moon - a new Moon occurs when the Sun and the Moon are exactly conjunct.

Venus being retrograde and conjoining this new Moon means, in essence, that we are retracing our steps when it comes to things Venusian - relationships, issues to do with money and property, beauty, our relationship with our body, our sense of the feminine principle etc, etc. We've had Venus meeting up with Jupiter these last few weeks, which brings up the need for expansion, building, taking risks, breaking out of past habits, going into new territory, etc, but we also had Venus and Jupiter together exactly squaring Saturn, which can bring up issues to do with depleting, letting go of things that were once thought to be solid, the need to budget and cut back, the feeling of going without, of letting go of the old, letting go of relationships and friendships that no longer work. Feeling the weight of ambition can lead us to realise where we might not have done our best. And with the amount of Saturn we've been having, we might feel the need for a break or a holiday. We can feel like lead balloons right when we feel the urge to push through with projects, our dreams, our desires, etc.

It's been a push me/pull you couple of weeks. I think that most people haven't been sure if they are coming or going. With Venus retrograde, especially in Leo, we want to push forward, to shine, to splurge, to have fun, to be creative and care-free, to take some calculated risks, etc. Up/down, in/out, push/shove. Ugh. It's been interesting though. Further, we have Mars entering Leo and into the fray and he will add to the desire to push through with creativity, the desire for love and romance, and, often, wanting to have fun and be carefree.

In amongst all of this, what I am hearing from a lot of people is that they have been feeling fine in amongst all that's going on. So many are saying they are happy and pushing through, even though circumstances may be difficult. To me, this feels like a time of ascension - a time of moving up in so many ways (especially creatively, spiritually...)

The biggest trick is not to make too many big decisions related to issues to do with Venus, unless, that is, the writing is so on the wall about something that it is time to let that something go. If major decisions are to be made, but you're unsure that the conditions are right just yet, it's best to ride things out, to see how the chips fall in a few week's time.

HOWEVER, Uranus on Aries 21: A BOXER ENTERING THE RING (the desire to run into 'the ring') is in a lovely trine aspect (120 degrees) with this new Moon on Leo 22: A CARRIER PIGEON FULFILLING ITS MISSION  - how to navigate that? Well, I think it's perfect for exploring new territories, new possibilities, new opportunities and horizons, BUT, it might be a few weeks before you know whether things will pan out the way you expect them to. Great things can be accomplished now and it may just be that adjustments have to be made to iron out things in a few week's time, so, it's a matter of how REAL anything feels to you. Flights of fancy can have us missing our stride or pushing for something that doesn't have any real viability in our futures. Some relationships will break up, others will make adjustments, big and small, and others could find themselves wanting to fully commit to each other. Only you will know what is right for you, but I think it pays to look and look and look again before making any leaps into an unknown reality as things can change when our perspectives take another look after Venus goes direct. BTW, Venus goes direct around September 6, which is about three weeks away, but it still then has to clear it's 'shadow' period (retracing the degrees it has already traversed in Leo) which will take about another month.

With a bit of luck and concentration, we will be receiving the messages we need to be hearing/seeing/understanding. Especially as we have the following -

The new Moon is on Leo 22: A CARRIER PIGEON FULFILLING ITS MISSION

This Symbol implies a clear sense of purpose and direction, even a sense of divine guidance. The ‘Carrier Pigeon’ may have to go through hardships and obstacles in order to deliver the message it is carrying or to complete the mission. This can be about bridging communications between people or conveying something that someone needs to hear or know. Pigeons were trained to deliver very important messages and some won honors and medals. Be sure that the end is in sight and there is a prize to be won in bringing a message to those who need it. Whatever this Symbol is speaking about, someone has a “Mission” that needs to be fulfilled.

The following is an excerpt for this degree from my book The Sabian Oracle: 360 Degrees Of Wisdom.

This Symbol shows that you may have to let your natural relationship with the environment guide you now intuitively and instinctively. We are most naturally inclined to follow a meaningful path if we just allow ourselves to respond to our inner guidance. It often feels strange to release control or inhibitions and to just “go with the flow”, but this is not a meaningless and directionless destination. As this ‘Pigeon’ is ‘Fulfilling its Mission’ you know that the end is in sight, and there is a prize to be won for bringing a message to those who need it. The reward can be financial, emotional, or otherwise somehow personally gratifying. The ‘Carrier Pigeon’ needs to deliver a message or bridge distances between people. However, this ‘Mission’ may not necessarily be positive or personally rewarding. The message being conveyed may be harmful or malicious gossip or merely useless information. In that case, the outcome may be less than desirable. This Symbol shows the importance of messages getting through to those who need to hear them. A special job that one must fulfill can lead to having a sense of duty or place. Whatever the ‘Mission’ is, this Symbol indicates that done well, with love and awareness, it will be ‘Fulfilled’ and carried out successfully.

Keywords: Bringer of good tidings and news. Creating lines of communication. Completing tasks. Feeling like one is on a mission. Finding out what's truly going on. Having a sense of destiny. Receiving orders from a higher authority. Being magnetically aligned. Pigeons, doves. Not being put off the track no matter what. Mail. Flying home.

The Caution: Gossip. Messages that are not useful to anyone or are outworn and old. Needing recognition and applause for doing simple things. Useless information. Putting a lot of effort into something that is not worth it. "Stool pigeons". Working until one drops from exhaustion. Being so one-pointed that you forget other parts of your life.

The Karmic Condition (the degree before) for the New Moon is Leo 21: INTOXICATED CHICKENS DIZZILY FLAP THEIR WINGS TRYING TO FLY

This Symbol can indicate the possibility of the loss of a sense of reality or rational reactions. Often it shows not being in touch with what’s realistically possible and truly what’s worth trying. There can be an attempt to do too much or too soon or before maturing enough to be capable of doing it. Still, trying to do things that are outside one’s natural sphere can be a really good thing, as long as you don’t overreach and cause damage. Sometimes, first attempts at a new experience may prove less than elegant or skillful. Soon you’ll look back with amusement at these early attempts. Find enjoyment in the “Intoxication”, but come back to earth when the feelings vanish.

The trick here seems to be grounding things before setting off with plans. As the hours and days after the new Moon unfold, you'll get a better idea of where you're heading.

Keywords: False courage. Inexperience. Trying to do something beyond the bounds of experience or possibility. Getting "out of it" in order to escape something. Getting all het-up over tiny or illusive prospects. Alcohol and drugs and the allure of escapism. Drinking binges. Ecstasy. Hangovers. Attempting to do the impossible.

The Caution: Giddiness, lightheadedness, unwanted side effects. Getting nowhere. Inability to ground things in reality. Making a fool of one's self. Intoxication that inhibits seeing what's really possible. Alcoholism and drug habits. Losing reality. Mindlessness that confuses or misleads. Going too far too fast. Forgetting who or where you are.

The new Moon symbolizes: A time of new beginnings and realisations. It's like a birth after a time of gestation or being 'in the womb'. Here, the light begins to return and we can see new beginnings and possibilities. A new Moon means that the Sun and the Moon are both together on the exact same degree of the zodiac - bringing a synergy of their energies together. The new Moon is a perfect time to set your intentions for the future. This period is wonderful for planting seeds of whatever kind. What do you want to manifest in your future? Whether you write it down, sing about it or just hold the thought forms in your mind, doing this at the new Moon can realise some fabulous results around the things that you want to draw into your life

Mercury is on Virgo 12: A BRIDE WITH HER VEIL SNATCHED AWAY

This is the degree of Elsie Wheeler's Sun (the wonderful spiritualist medium who gave birth to the Sabian Symbols in 1925). Elsie's story is fascinating, she did not marry, but her 'Veil' was removed so she could see into spiritual realms. What she accomplished is extraordinary, and it was because she stripped away (and had them stripped from her), those things that 'veiled her light'.

(In Australia, the gay-marriage rights issue is being hotly debated).

This Symbol implies the issue of ‘unveiling’ oneself in some way, and you, or someone else, can no longer hide behind a pretense or hide your light. You’re likely to be faced with the moment of moving into a new life and a new sense of identity. Perhaps there’s the feeling that you, or somebody, is not quite ready to give themselves completely to a relationship or situation, but they do not really have much choice. If one doesn't go willingly, they'll probably be pushed forward - finally taking the plunge. There can be an unveiling of one's true identity which can lead to some surprising realizations.

Keywords: Secret motives being revealed. Unveiling or changing identity. Proving oneself with no excuses and no pretense. Breaking down walls. Relating on a deep level. "Honeymoon periods". Being true to one's self and others. Marriage rituals. Dropping pretense. Divorce. Veils. Vows. The veil between the conscious and unconscious. A man in love is incomplete until he is married. Then he is finished. Zsa Zsa Gabor

The Caution: Stubbornly refusing to accept new directions. Failing to commit. Not coming up with what one promised. Feelings of violation. Not ready to give up fantasies or illusions. Being used or exposed. Harsh realities. Mysteries that may be best left that way. Withdrawal. Beware of all enterprises that require new clothes. Henry David Thoreau Grief walks upon the heels of pleasure; married in haste, we repent at leisure. William Congreve When a husband is embraced without affection, there must be some reason for it. Hitopadesa No one worth possessing can be quite possessed. Sara Teasdale

The Karmic Degree for Mercury is Virgo 11: CHILDREN MOLDED IN THEIR PARENT’S ASPIRATIONS

This Symbol implies having to live up to others’ expectations. It's fine to be moulded by people’s desires or by our parents, but often this does not reflect our true potential. The “Parent” often misses the truth of the offspring and may be projecting their own unlived life. Taking back one’s sense of individuality and going after what you really want will probably lead to more success in your life. Worrying about what others want, expect or think can lead to shallow choices or responses. On the other hand, this can show people being proud of what you have achieved and who you’ve grown into.

Mercury is in a great trine aspect with Pluto, so we are being given an opportunity to really get to the heart of matters...

This, and the previous 'Bride' Symbol are very curious in the light of the gay marriage debate we are having. Why do people feel they have a right to impose on others what they can and can't do? (when what they are doing is not harming others).

Keywords: Being directed on the journey or shaped against one's free will. Plastic or cosmetic surgery. Building the physical or emotional shape. Finding one's way or destiny. Predetermined destinies. Looking like one's mother or father. The challenge of individuality. DNA. Parents as patterns. Allowing others to dictate who you are. Inherited values. Following in the family's footsteps.

The Caution: Remaining tied to the apron strings of mother or others. Conforming to social expectations. Not having a clear sense of what one wants to be. Being a reflection of what somebody else wants. Being a "mummy's boy". Not having the free will of one's own. Living the unlived life of the parents. Squashed individuality. Letting down the side.

Mercury symbolizes: Mind, thought, communication, memory, expression, intelligence. News, exchanges, chatting, conversations, short journeys, connections with others, telephones, emails, siblings, neighbors, the reasoning mind. Day-to-day activities. Cars, keys, small animals.

Venus is retrograde on Leo 24: TOTALLY CONCENTRATED UPON INNER SPIRITUAL ATTAINMENT, A YOGI IS SITTING

The pic to the right shows a yogi sitting on a bed of nails. Is that what we're doing? Are we torturing ourselves in an attempt to become 'spiritual'? Have we forgotten our more animal, physical needs? Our sensual and sexual needs? Of course, this Symbol can also show a wonderful, peaceful and beautiful journey into spiritual realms, with many realizations and breakthroughs - especially with everything else that is going on astrologically.

This Symbol shows a ‘Hindu Yogi’ sitting in contemplation, concentrating on inner spiritual attainment. It implies a desire to contact spirit and to be in touch with one’s body, often through the practice of meditation or yoga. This is a wonderful degree of spiritual striving, however there could be a feeling of imbalance; it is as if some aspects of your life are put on hold in favor of some central issue. Being too committed to spiritual or emotional concerns can lead one to lose touch with more immediate, physical matters. However, a sense of focus on something that is very important can bring enormous rewards.

Keywords: Issues of how we view and value our bodies. Fixation on exercise and nutrition at the expense of more spiritual or emotional issues. Eating disorders. Gymnasiums and physical fitness issues. Spiritual gurus. Yoga and yogis. Living for the future. Extreme states of meditation. Total concentration. Breatharians.

The Caution: Not enough attention to the body or physical needs. A lack of focus on more immediate issues such as food and exercise OR forgetting spiritual, emotional or mental concerns through a focus on the body or physical aspects. Too many things on one's mind. Obsessions leading to imbalance. Not eating or drinking. Imbalances.

Venus symbolizes: Relatedness, cooperation, what attracts you. The experience of sweetness, beauty or delight. Social interactions, love, friends, how you reach out to people. Feminine persona, relationship with mother and females. Money, possessions, our sense of values and what we value.

Mars is on Leo 4: SOMEONE FORMALLY DRESSED STANDS NEAR TROPHIES BROUGHT BACK FROM A HUNTING EXPEDITION. It's interesting that we have Mars here with all the talk of trophy hunting in Africa and the outrage that has been unleashed with the shooting of Cecil the lion. With Mars, here, t seems that there is more to be said about this, and the treatment of animals, and we are being asked to examine just what a 'trophy' is. It is good that several airlines have come to the party and banned the transportation of body parts of certain species of animals. At least something good is coming from it all. Mars here can kick up the dust, of course

There is, of course, more to this degree than that. This degree can bring up issues to do with the things we put forward as our own types of 'trophies'. What do we identify with when it comes to achievements, medals, pennants, records being broken, issues of being recognised and/or deserving recognition, etc?

This Symbol speaks of awards and trophies and displaying what one is capable of or what’s been achieved or won. Putting on your best and showing people what you’re made of is great, but it is one thing to achieve something and yet another to display one's achievements for all to see. There may be an urge to impress others, but some people will be very impressed whilst others may be distinctly unimpressed. Think carefully of the effects before you proclaim your winnings or awards or show what you have conquered, but don’t hide your light either! Remember; trophies come in all shapes and sizes.

Keywords: Trophies of conquest. The desire to show oneself. Proving one's animal instincts for the benefit of social position. Displays of manliness. The spoils of daring and courage. Notches on the belt. Victories over another. Trophies awarded for one's club, social standing or country. Looking for pats on the back. Diplomas. Guns, rifles, ammunition. Academy Awards. Animal liberationists.

The Caution: Dominating nature with power. Showing off. Warfare and the ravages of it. Keeping tabs on one's conquests. Boasting of masculine prowess. Living in the past. Arrogance. Seeing things as objects to conquer. Testosterone overloads. Compromises made to attain social acceptance. Envious responses to success.

Mars symbolizes: Drive, determination or agenda, how you get to your goals. How you express and handle anger, ambition, assertion of self and ability to step forward. The male principle, sexuality, the ability to step up to the plate when one needs to. Fight or flight.

Jupiter is on Virgo 1: IN A PORTRAIT, THE BEST OF A PERSON'S TRAITS AND CHARACTER ARE IDEALIZED

This Symbol shows projecting a desired image of yourself or others. Paintings, drawings, caricatures, profiles, portraits – all these are important hallmarks of people. However, the real thing is character. You may need to be a good judge of character and not just “read a book by its cover” = look deeply into people. However, at times, you may need to remind yourself of the true features of people or situations. Is the "true picture" of a person, the "Man's Features", presented and recognized. Do you look for the best but avoid undesirable factors? Is this working, or do you sometimes miss the truth?

Jupiter has started its journey through Virgo. This is like a new beginning of sorts. We are being asked to get real about life... health, get organised, be more discerning, perhaps.

Keywords: Projection of beauty. Drawings, paintings, photographs, etc. Art, cosmetics, beauty salons. Hairstyles. Elevated thoughts or memories. Taking someone at face value. Visual senses and clues. Recognition. Caricatures of people. Highlighting features. "Identikit" drawings. Visual prototypes. Profiles. Face reading. Written reviews and references. Viewpoints.

The Caution: Not truly assessing people. Vanity. Superficial judgments. Propaganda. Misleading appearances. Tagging people with labels. Misidentifications. Taking someone the wrong way. Seeing only the best, or the worst. Preconceived beliefs. Feeling misunderstood. Prejudice. Projections.

Jupiter symbolizes: The big picture, expansion, exploration, aspirations, religious and philosophical ideals, issues to do with traveling, foreign lands, people and traditions, culture, education, generosity, luck, abundance, support, optimism. Insight through knowledge and wisdom.

Saturn is on Scorpio 29: AN INDIAN WOMAN PLEADING TO THE CHIEF FOR THE LIVES OF HER CHILDREN

This Symbol implies the need, or the ability, to be an advocate for the rights of others, particularly youngsters or children, and being prepared to engage with others in order to bring about a desired result. You may find yourself standing-up for those in your care, or for those who need your care, whether it is your children, your ideals or creative pursuits. Even if they sometimes deserve rejection, punishment or judgment, the solution will possibly be found not in being defensive as in simply asking for consideration, mercy and leniency. This can also show bringing a healing to others, whether it’s through their own actions or through finding the healers that are needed to affect a cure.

Issues to do with children and family and being safe have been coming up a lot lately.

Keywords: Patterns of family dominance. Pleading one's cause. Seeking love, mercy or forgiveness. Asking higher powers to step in, help or heal. Intercession. Counseling. Protecting the younger ones. Family law courts, magistrates, lawyers. Divorce. Young people taken seriously. Guilt and innocence. Weaving words to a desired outcome. Intervention. Schools. Juvenile delinquents. Being nailed for an offence. Speaking on behalf of others. Tribunals. Begging for mercy. Custody battles. Sexual discrimination. Advocates.

The Caution: Being dominated. Sacrificing one's self for peace and quiet. Making a spectacle. Ramming one's opinions. Going on the defensive. Bullying and browbeating. Harping on and on about things that should be forgiven or forgotten. Disruptive elements that get away with anything. Being expelled. Being made an example of.

The Karmic Condition of Saturn is Scorpio 28: THE KING OF THE FAIRIES APPROACHING HIS DOMAIN

This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to feel at ease and in charge of your home, territory or domain. You may have been searching for where you belong or where your “Domain” is. Although you may at times be off looking for this, feeling alien and alone won’t work; there's a need to feel accepted, welcomed and loved. There may be the feeling of wanting to be a dominant leader or having a doting populace. As long as egos are in control, this can be a fabulous experience of 'returning home', a nice, and calm and spiritual place to be. Also, this degree can show a world of one’s own creation or imagination – which can be fabulously rewarding although it can also be rather ungrounded in reality.

Do we really know where we are? Where we belong? Do we feel a sense of stability and safety where we live? Do we have people around us that love us, appreciate and respect us? This is what Saturn here is asking of many of us.

Keywords: Imaginary worlds. Finding a place. Feeling comfortable. Taking command of life. Leadership and its responsibilities. Feeling like a dominant leader and that one has a doting populace. Being welcomed. Midsummer Night's Dream. Returning home. Web domains. Finding one's true vocation or purpose.

The Caution: Imaginary worlds and dependence on trickery. Ridicule aimed at those that don't have their feet on the ground. Someone acting like a "hot shot". Feelings of superiority which alienate others. The fear of approaching the unknown. Never finding a real place to settle down. Fairy tales about how life could or should be. Lording it over others. Being bossy and commanding. Being impotent. The fear and loathing of having to accept one's true place. Not taking command of one's life. Loneliness. Feeling locked out.

Saturn symbolizes: Authority, rules, discipline and obligation The heavy stuff. What we fear, loss, karma, aging, the establishment, orthodoxy, tradition, status, the concept of time, walls, boundaries, limits, older people, restrictions, patience, conquering difficulties.

Uranus is on Aries 21: A BOXER IS ENTERING THE RING

This Symbol shows that there may be a temptation to take on issues, even to fight, but it needs to be with dignity and regulation. You may feel a need, or the urge, to step up to the plate and take something or someone on. There are rules to follow and often others will be end up being the judge of the final outcome. Make sure you possess the skills and training to defend what you believe. Remember that sometimes you need to back off if you're not winning a contest. Question: is someone on the attack or the defense?

I'm seeing evidence of 'boxing' in so many places, especially in the media. It's interesting to watch how these Symbols come to life. Uranus is in a lovely trine aspect with this new Moon, plus Venus, we are being asked to drop some of our excuses, limitations, beliefs, etc, in order to truly 'step into the ring'. We are being asked to step up (in many ways).

Keywords: Physical or psychological self - assertion and determination. Attack or defense? Fighting for emotional, psychological or physical space. Being seen as a person of strength. Throwing punches. Fighting on any level. Being prepared to take a swing at someone or something. Stepping up to the plate. Throwing down the gauntlet. Going after the title. Big vs. small egos.

The Caution: Using force or power to dominate people or those who challenge. Acting in a combative manner. Not displaying sportsmanship. Wanting to knock people out. Looking for combat. Throwing punches at anything. Belting, smacking, invading. Being punch-drunk.

Uranus symbolizes: The unexpected, things that are individual or 'different'. Charged, energetic dynamics, electricity, light, lightning bolts, sudden changes, those who live on the fringe of society. Sudden turns and twists of fate. Rebellion, surprises, liberation, freedom.

Neptune is on Pisces 9: THE RACE BEGINS: INTENT ON OUTDISTANCING HIS RIVALS, A JOCKEY SPURS HIS HORSE TO GREAT SPEED

This shows spurring to action when you need to, to rise to occasions that call for a sense of urgency or speed. Perhaps it's time to extract all the energy possible into situations. The “Race” is on, and you may feel that you can make it to the finish, but still are not guaranteed of victory. What efforts do you expend to push you faster and further than the rest of the field? Ensure that you're not expending all your energy too quickly and not really achieving anything of lasting value. Be wary of bolting out of the gate without knowing what your objective is. Needing to win at all costs can have others feeling like you’re not really ‘in the race’ – just wanting to win.

Keywords: Competitiveness and high ambitions. Wanting to win, sometimes against the odds. Losing and gaining weight. Weightlessness. Racing to be first at things. Demanding quick flight. Bolting out of the gate. Aggressive desires. Exhilaration. Wanting to better oneself. Being on the home run. Speed and the need for it. Facing forward with great intensity. Rivals and competitors. The value of training. Horsemanship. Discipline. Energy poured into the drive to succeed. Starting whistles, pistols or lights.

The Caution: Galloping at full speed prematurely. Being too ambitious. Ruthless measures. Jumping the gun. Doing anything to win or succeed. Being pushy or single minded. Running out of steam before the finish line. Weight dropping off too quickly. Sabotage or blocking other's efforts. Reigning in energy at the last moment.

Neptune symbolizes: Mystical, "out there," spirituality and con artists. Dreams, mysteries, mystics and religious issues. Intuition, clairvoyance, seeing into the invisible. Addictive, chaotic, charming, deceptive, illusory, co dependent, sensory awareness.

Pluto is on Capricorn 14: AN ANCIENT BAS-RELIEF CARVED IN GRANITE REMAINS A WITNESS TO A LONG-FORGOTTEN CULTURE

This Symbol shows learning from the past, seeing the beauty and meaning inherent in ancient civilizations, their monuments and cultures. Some things never fade; they stand as reminders of ancient eras, bringing messages to us. Information and revelations may be found in these reminders (the “Remains”) about the stability and longevity of the foundation of your society, or possibly some other society, distant in time or space. You’ll find satisfaction in things that are not so much superficial display, but those things that represent the longevity and stability of the foundation or backdrop of your society. The trick is not to get stuck in the past or become unchangeable or unbendable.

Keywords: Anonymous immortality. Things written or carved in stone, or concrete. Permanent records. Clues from the past. Things that should be shaped and changed with the times. Pieces of art or sculpture. Things that belong in a museum. Inscriptions and carvings. Ancient civilizations and their relics. History.

The Caution: Limitations that don't allow for changes. Old and outworn situations. Things that can not, or will not, ever change. Memories frozen in time. Feeling stuck, like no growth is possible. Frigidity of feelings.

Pluto symbolizes: Unconscious motivations, depth psychology, history. Sex, procreation at a deep level, intensity, profound emotions, taking hold of one's power. Being king or queen of one's underworld. Strength, survival mode instincts. Big money. Big power. The Plutocracy.

Chiron is on Pisces 21: A LITTLE WHITE LAMB, A CHILD AND A CHINESE SERVANT

This shows being able to provide care, safety and comfort to those who need it. The “Child” has a “Servant”; he is well looked after. He also has a “Little White Lamb”, an animal companion, one he can be with, hug and enjoy. In our early years it was the sense of touch that was initially satisfied. If you felt cradled and comfortable, you could grow knowing that all was safe and well. You could find yourself in a place of privilege; cradled from those things that could hurt or challenge you, having someone to look after you. Conversely, you could be the one who’s always there for others, supporting and loving them regardless of who they are or where they’re from.

Keywords: Being protected by higher, more aware, energies. The privileges money and social status bring. Awareness of the different levels of situations. Differing perspectives. Helpers, servants. Care. Being watched over. Watchfulness. Pets and animals. The supervision of youngsters. Purity of vision. Caring for the child within.

The Caution: Social incompatibility. Purity merely by nature of wealth. Not having to grow up because of the social environment. Not taking responsibility for one's self. Acting like a brat and getting away with it.

Chiron symbolizes: Our wounds and it is known as The Wounded Healer, it also shows The Stories That We Tell Ourselves, it is where we have to focus on healing, it can show things that are out of shape or misplaced or in need of repair.

The Moon's North Node is on Libra 2: THE LIGHT OF THE SIXTH RACE TRANSMUTED TO THE SEVENTH

This wonderful Symbol shows a time of new beginnings with an implementation of a brand new order. Often, this shows people being interested in attaining spiritual transformation and attainment. As you change and grow there’s a need to respect the value of what is waning, and to take the best qualities with you into your future. This often shows being within reach of your ultimate potential. Some aspects of society are left behind for a higher, more evolved state. Ascension to a higher order is pictured, but there is a need to remain rooted in the reality of practicality, lest one loses one's way.

For me, this is the Big Kahuna of what's going on. A lot of people have been speaking about these times as being ones of 'ascension'. I have seen mention of it in several places. And here we are, with the Moon's north node traversing the Super Galactic Center - the SGC - which is said to be an enormous power-house of energy and a direct link to 'The Mind Of God' - similar to the Galactic Center, but this one feels even more powerful than the Sagittarius 28 placement... This is a time for adjusting and tuning our resonances so we move to a higher plane of being. We can do it *just like that* - a snap of the fingers and we can be in it.

Keywords: Younger or more vital elements taking over from the elders. The fruits of the new age. Theosophy—Blavatsky's theories. Finding kindred spirits. Sharing visions. Ascension and evolution. Inheritances that move one forward. Growing older and wiser. UFO's and aliens. Music that lifts one's spirits. Gurus and avatars. Demarcations of evolution. Transmutations. Indigo children. Evolving.

The Caution: Losing touch with practical survival. Can be racial (or other) discrimination. Feeling that one is from a "higher" order (or more evolved) than other people. Leaving others behind.

The Moon's North Node symbolizes: This is known as quite a 'karmic point' (although all planets and points in a chart can be'karmic'). One's destiny in this life. The things you are meant to integrate, move towards, become. Destined relationships and relationship issues can show up here.

The Moon's South Node is on Aries 2: A COMEDIAN ENTERTAINING A GROUP OF FRIENDS

This Symbol shows that an objective awareness of oneself and others can bring light relief to you and those around you. We often need to be reminded that we are essentially human and share the same imperfections, frailties and shortcomings as the next person. See the humor and joy in situations - positive reactions can be an escape route from difficulties through seeing the funny side. Group cohesion and joy can come through sharing fun and being able to laugh and joke is an important part of life.

Humor always helps. It's one of the best balms for when we are having difficulties. We smile and many issues fade away instantly.

Keywords: Seeing the funny side. Having insights. Always being on the 'go' mentally. Putting on a show for others. Having presence and charisma. Being the life of the party. Banter. Cracking up with laughter. Ragging each other. Humorous interplay. Saying what the group wants to hear. Jokes. The buffoon. Inside jokes. The jester.

The Caution: Being silly or trivial to avoid reality and gain acceptance. Feeling separate because of different views. Not seeing the light side. Being a bore with many irrelevant things said. Being flippant and insincere. Not being amused. Demanding the spotlight. Feeling responsible for how others feel. Not knowing when to stop. Not having good boundaries.

The Moon's South Node symbolizes: Past karmic patterns to be overcome, can be habits that are good, but can describe things, relationships, issues that you need to let go of, or, hold you back from manifesting your true destiny. Relationships that feel karmic and difficult, memories from the past.
