Ask yourself an honest question…

If we focus on big impact for ourselves first and big impact for the client second, will we ever have the kind of impact that we desire?  Probably not.

A lot of real estate agents, and all sales people for that matter, aren’t quite sure which comes first!  Them or the client (the chicken or the egg?)

Create big impact for our clients first, and big impact in your life will follow.  Sometimes the smallest actions can have huge impact.

The great Zig Ziglar said it best.  “Give others what they want, and in return you’ll get what you want.”  That’s very powerful!

Example;  I was in a closing last week with a seller client.  The buyer asked if my client was going to be able to keep the grass mowed before turning over possession of the home to the new owner. She acted like she would, but I knew it would be tough for her as her husband had already moved to another state and she was going to be busy with their kids, packing & moving.  So, I quickly shot a text to my buddy who mows yards.  I gave him the address and asked him to mow the yard a couple times in the next couple weeks.  He confirmed he would do it.  I confirmed with the buyer and my client that yard mowing is taken care of and that neither of them need to worry about it.  Their jaws were on the floor.

Do you think that buyer will remember that?  Absolutely!

Do you think my client felt like she wasn’t just another paycheck for me and felt a sense of relationship in that moment?  Of course!

Do you think both the buyer and seller will tell others about what I did?  No Question!

Do you think the buyer’s agent felt a little silly in that moment and maybe even a little embarrassed that she didn’t think to take care of her client in a more meaningful way?  I’ll bet she did!

So you can see the potential impact I could receive in my business and life in the future by simply putting the focus on the client first!  Impact others!
