Following last year’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) roadshows, Travis Perkins’ Sustainable Building Solutions subsidiary, is now working with the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) to host a series of RHI trade events.

The RHI is a taxpayer funded scheme that provides handouts to owners of renewable heating technologies, based on the units of heat they produce. The RHI became available to domestic properties in April 2014 which means every existing building in Great Britain is able to take advantage of the opportunity to bag a wad of taxpayers’ hard-earned. Since the scheme opened, 20,000 installations have been accredited onto the scheme.

This year’s series of trade events are aimed at installers and tradesmen who are interested in installing renewables under the RHI. The events will run from 4pm – 5.30pm and will provide installers the chance to talk to a DECC representative about the RHI and discuss the opportunity for renewables with a range of suppliers.

There are a total of 15 RHI Roadshows set for venues as far north as Aberdeen and as far south as Bodelva in Cornwall:
