Finally a run from Running Wild that can actually be called a Fun Run!! Enjoy running along rolling grassy slopes and sandy beaches and striding up gentle hills located between the cliffs overlooking the Southern Ocean and rolling green fields with cattle grazing contentedly.

This is definitely a run for the beginner trail runner, the road runner that is jaded and wants to get out there for great scenery and great running and just wants to be re-invigorated by the great outdoors, as well as the experienced trail runner just wanting a great run.

Other Running Wild Events - The Great Alpine Road Half Marathon

The inaugural running of The Great Alpine Road Half Marathon and 10K is on November 22nd. This run, destined to be one of Australia's top marathon running courses will commence in the heart of the Australian Alps at Mount Hotham Alpine Resort and follow the iconic Great Alpine Road out to CRB Hill before returning to Hotham Heights.

Other Running Wild Events - Dinner Plain Mile High Trail Run

November 23rd then sees the Dinner Plain Mile High Trail Run. The short course distances of 4km and 7km are great for the kids and those just wanting to stretch their legs allowing scenic walking trails. For the more experienced, the 21km and 32km courses take in more challenging and historic runs through the Alpine National Park, Mt Hotham Village and the historic Cobungra Ditch. Soak up the pristine alpine environment and challenge yourself to run at an altitude above 1600 metres (one mile) and join the Dinner Plain Mile High club.
