There are up to 6 300x250px advertising slots on the Australian Running Calendar website in the right column, which appear on all pages of this website.

Overview

The Australian Running Calendar features the most comprehensive list of running events throughout Australia, with regularly updated event listings. Rather than wait for event directors to submit their events, we pro-actively find events and keep our listings up to date by monitoring event websites for changes. This makes it the best resource for runners looking for upcoming events.

History

The website was launched in March 2012, following the same successful formula used on the New Zealand Running Calendar website.

It website was created and continues to be maintained by Chris Hope, a website programmer and ultra distance runner. Chris lives in Auckland, New Zealand and is responsible for all aspects of the website: programming, maintaining listings, marketing, and selling advertising.

Advertising with the Australian Running Calendar

There are 6 ad spots available which appear on the right side of every page of the website. The ads appear in random order on each page load.

Currently the layout of the website is the same for both mobile devices and desktop browsers, although this will change later this year when a mobile optimized version of the website becomes available. Ad formats will remain the same for both versions, although the layout of ads in the content is still to be determined for mobile.

Pricing and payment

Ads are AU$11 per day, payable by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) or wire transfer.

The current minimum purchase is 3 weeks, but any timeframe beyond that is acceptable, e.g. a calendar month.

The Australian Running Calendar is owned by iSavvy Ltd, a New Zealand company. Ad orders by New Zealand companies will be billed in New Zealand dollars and GST applied on top. There is no tax payable for orders from other countries.
