The beginning

The booming automobile industry and other related industries of late have brought with them increasing quantities of rubber waste which is one of the most common and most significant sources of environmental problems. This results in ozone layer depletion and degradation of the environment which have now emerged as a major challenge all over the world. Rubber waste disposal is a serious problem. Recycling is the most effective solution to the problem of environmental hazards caused by the ever-rising heaps of untreated waste rubber. In the current decade, India too is facing the enormous problems of waste rubber disposal.
