Hey all...
was riding my bike today... when I get on it cold, the clutch has quite a bit of free play.
When I start the bike and put it in gear I only have to let the clutch out a tiny bit and the bike starts moving.. its also hard to get into N.
Once I ride the bike for a bit at operating temp, the free play has reduced and N is easier to get.
Today I was in traffic and the bikes temp got up to 100°C... the clutch lost all its free play and the lever was solid.
I kept riding it a bit then the clutch started to slip/
I pulled over, undid the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder, it did a little spurt, released the pressure buildup and then clutch felt normal.
Jumped on it and rode... no probs.
ANY IDEAS????????????????????????
