On Sunday night, Cee Lo Green, former Goodie Mobber and one half of musical duo Gnarls Barkley, had us all questioning his sanity when he showed up to the Grammy Awards in a bizarre gold costume that looked straight out of a comic book or 80s B-movie.

Huh. So what’s the deal? According to Green, it’s his new personality, Gnarly Davidson, a character he “described” to XXL earlier this month:
“Look at me… LOOK AT ME! YOU DID THIS TO ME CEELO GREEN, YOU FUCKING IDIOT. BUT I LIKE IT, I’m actually…BETTER! Than you… than everyone! A karmikaze upon you! Vengeance is mine sayeth GNARLY DAVIDSON. P.S. TECHNOLOJESUS saves.”
Well thats about answers…absolutely nothing. But at least the gold getup has inspired these hilarious photoshops from Reddit and Twitter.
