If there is one thing to take away from the current race to the White House, it is that our candidates are too damn old. Democrat Hillary Clinton is 68, Republican Donald Trump is 70, and Bernie Sanders, who was leading the youth vote, just turned 75. Sure, with age comes wisdom or some crap, but this is just ridiculous. And because young people tend to not go out and vote, we are totally neglected. Politicians don’t care about us and we in turn don’t care about them. But what if they were more like us?
Artist Amit Shimoni reimagines world leaders form the past and present as hipsters and the results are…hilarious. I say give it two more election cycles before old, pathetic politicians start getting piercings and dying their hair to show they are just like us. And that Che Guevara hipster wearing a Che Guevara shirt? Brilliant!
