Golf carts can be fun, but unless you’re a retiree in some South Florida old people community with “palm,” “cove,” or some vaguely Spanish-sounding words in the name who drives one of those golf carts made to look like a retro car, they are not much to look at. However, Mercedes-Benz is looking to change that.
Mercedes-Benz designers teamed with Daimler Business Innovation and well-known golf cart manufacturer Garia to create the Mercedes-Benz Style Edition Garia Golf Car. This is your average course rental crap-cart. This luxurious golf car is fully-loaded, with an onboard touchpad that displays several car functions, the layout of the golf course, current position and an electronic score card; a built-in refrigerator under the bench; hi-fi speakers with wireless Bluetooth connectivity; a 50-mile range with a top speed of 19 mph; and LED headlights so you can see in any weather conditions.
