The Queensland Government welcomes successful business investors who wish to invest and live in Queensland, Australia. Migration Queensland seeks nominations for business migrants through Australia’s Business Innovation and Investment Program. In partnership with the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection, Queensland nominates business migrants seeking to make an investment that directly benefits Queensland’s economy.

Below are various Business and Skilled visas and their criteria:

Subclass 132 Business Talent (Significant Business History Stream) (Age under 55)

Net business and personal assets of A$1.5 million to be transferred to Queensland within 2 years after visa is granted including:

minimum A$1million investment in a business

minimum A$500,000 settlement costs

Reside in Queensland

(Brisbane and Gold Coast restrictions: café-style eateries, entry level franchise convenience stores & small scale property development) – Application will be assessed on case by case bases.

Subclass 132 Business Talent (Significant Business History Stream) (Age over 55)

minimum A$3million investment in a business , or

minimum A$5million investment in property development business

Subject to DIBP Qld quota

Subclass 188 Business Innovation and Investment

Innovation Stream: Net business and personal assets of A$800,000 to be transferred to Queensland within 2 years after visa is granted including:

minimum A$200,000 investment in a business

Reside in Queensland

(Brisbane and Gold Coast restrictions: café-style eateries, entry level franchise convenience stores & small scale property development) – Application will be assessed on case by case bases.

From 25 July 2016 BSMQ will commence processing EOI’s under the newly approved business criteria & QSOL.
