The year is 1816 and the London season has begun! We are currently enjoying an extended season from the cool, wintry days of January to the warmer, summer days of august. Much of society has migrated to the streets of London while parliament is in session. All who wish to be fashionable are in attendance as the balls and parties commence. Though, there is something to be said for a relaxing retreat to bath or a country estate.

Canon(s)/role(s) requested: We are a character-driven site in need of our Jane Austen canon characters! Each of these characters are central to the setting and relationships across the board.
The first set of characters we are in need of have family members/relationships that are currently in play and are wanted for plotting with our members. Note: play bys are all merely suggestions!
Mrs. Elinor Ferrars- 20-22 years of age, and married Edward Ferrars last summer (August 1815). She is prudent, practical, honest, and cares a great deal for her family. Suggested Play By: Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Miss Margaret Dashwood- 15-17 years of age and high in spirit. Suggested Play By: Jessica Parker Kennedy.
Miss Fanny Price- 18-19 years old and lives at Mansfield having just returned from an extended visit home to Portsmouth where she met and brought Susan Price back with her. Fanny is also secretly pining for her cousin Edmund. Suggested PB: Aisling Loftus.
Mr. Edmund Bertram- 23-25 years old and lives at the parsonage at Thornton Lacey. He is a serious, moral young vicar. He is a truly good person but can be narrow-minded and lacking in self-knowledge. Suggest PB: Blake Ritson.
Mr. Tom Bertram- 25-28 years old and lives at Mansfield Park when he is not in London or enjoying the races at Newmarket. Tom has always been a rather typical wealthy, eldest son who enjoys gambling, drinking and racing. He recently fell seriously ill after being abandoned by his friends at Newmarket and has been convalescing at Mansfield. Suggested PB: James D'Arcy.
Mr. Henry Crawford-
23-28 years old and clever, charming, flirtatious and restless, very similar to his sister. He owns a country estate but is not very often there, though recently he has begun to think how nice it would be to have a sweet, little wife there and live in domestic felicity. Suggested PBs: Harry Lloyd or Ben Whishaw.
This next set of characters all pertain to one family: The Bennets from Pride and Prejudice! Mr. Darcy desperately needs his Lizzy, and we as a board would love for the whole family to be in play.

Mrs. Jane Bingley- Formerly Miss Jane Bennet. 26-28 years of age. Married to Charles Bingley in October 1812. First Bennet sister. Suggested Play By: Rosamund Pike.
Mrs. Elizabeth Darcy- Formerly Miss Elizabeth Bennet. 24-26 years of age. Married to Fitzwilliam Darcy in October 1812. Second Bennet sister. Suggested Play By: Keira Knightley.
Miss Mary Bennet- 22-24 years of age. Third Bennet sister. Suggested Play By: Joanna Vanderham.
Miss Catherine Bennet- 22 years of age. Fourth Bennet sister. Suggested Play By: Sarah Bolger.
Mrs. Lydia Wickham- Formerly Miss Lydia Bennet. 20 years of age. Married to George Wickham in August 1812. Fifth Bennet sister. Suggested Play By: Natalie Dormer.
