DAMOCLES BELBY - 35+

Damocles Belby is a genius. Of course genius comes with its costs and Damocles has those as well, because he isn't exactly the easiest person to get along with, but sometimes there are people like that in a hospital, when arrogance comes pack and parcel with the trade and Damocles is very, very good at what he does. Perfect marks on his NEWTs for potions, perfect marks at Mungo's for the same thing, there are things he can do with potions that some people can't even dream of—and don't think he lets people forget it.

But things are not all rainbows and sunshine for Damocles. And genius can be hard, because he has to be this good, and this talent has to be worth it, because there is someone very important to him that is suffering. Whoever said love conquers all was an idiot. That is why he makes potions.

Damocles Belby invents Wolfsbane Potion, the problem is, he hasn't done it yet.

Damocles will find plots with healers, potion makers and, of course, werewolves.

ALECTO CARROW- 20

The Carrow's have never been want of anything in their lives, the family business providing ample money to supply the lifestyle that they wanted and felt they deserved. Alecto grew up in a life of privilege; always getting what she wanted when she wanted it and never having to ask twice. Her father called her princess and she never believed herself to be anything less.

Her brother never had the same luxury, he was taught at a young age that you needed to work for what you wanted being a male and the family business had to be run by someone with a brain. While Mr. Carrow loved his daughter he never felt that women had any clue as to what was going on in the 'real' world and he never gave his daughter the chance to learn. She was to be kept in her ivory tower and learn how to become a dutiful wife like her mother was; marry without protest, produce heirs, remain beautiful and above all stay out of the way.

Alecto enjoyed her cushy life of learning etiquette and attending tea parties until she reached Hogwarts. She found that not everything was handed to her anymore, she needed to work for things and despite falling on her face at first she found she enjoyed her new life. Alecto enjoyed earning her grades and being praised for it, she liked picking and choosing her own friends and gaining power among them. But not only did she like it...she was good at it. Alecto had apparently learned more than which fork to eat with at her mother's knee and she was going to use that cunning to go straight to the top.

Alecto will find plots with other Death Eaters as well as Pureblood ladies of status.

AMYCUS CARROW - 22

The Carrow's own the betting parlour on Knockturn Alley which has been a lucrative source of income for the family and thus supplied the more then ample means of funds for Mrs. Carrow's elaborate expenditures and the younger Carrow's need for adventure and education. Thus Amycus (for Alecto ought not to be exposed to such things though naturally she was anyway) was much exposed to the seedier underside of the wizarding world at a very young age. Wizards will bet on a great many things, from quidditch matches, broom racing, to the outcome of quodpot tournaments in America . . . and even some less legal activities. Amycus became an expert on running the books at a young age and that is when he got creative.

He started at school by keeping books and taking bets on whatever he could convince people to put down money on. Then once he had a bit of capital he started buying up cheap magical creatures, little things like doxies or pixies and letting them fight, marking them with numbers and letting people bet. But he's graduated now, he can move on to bigger game, and bigger game, well, there is a war on and bigger game is people. Amycus has always been creative and forcing muggles to fight for their lives, or, if his paying friends are inclined, to hunt down a muggle he's sourced then why not? He might be young but Carrow has been running a business since he was 14 years old.

Amycus will find plenty of plots with Death Eaters and any less than savoury types that would support his growing business venture.

ALBUS DUMBLEDORE - 98

Albus Dumbledore is the Leader of the Order of the Phoenix. A complicated man, he has seen rather a lot of strife in his long life in politics, education and now, fighting a war to make sure that dark magic does not take hold of the wizarding world. You could say that Albus is something of a rather ambitious man. Albus established the Order with the intent to fight evil, but of course things are not so black and white as good and evil even if the very young in the Order would have it so and Albus has grave doubts at times as to whether they can win this war but they need to fight, they must fight. He is struggling to keep the Order together, from fracturing into disparate pieces, as the Order was formed on the need to fight for freedom, where as the Death Eaters are all about control, and there in lies the strength of the enemy.

I won’t go into a lot of details about Albus, you can look it up, but obviously he is a very cool and powerful character to play who would have a very significant role in any plots we establish as this is a board focused on the first war.

Albus would have a lot of plots with both Good and Evil, and would be taking a leadership role within the Order—helping to plan their actions and such.

FRANK LONGBOTTOM - 24

Frank Longbottom has always been a man of justice, one that has never backed down from what he thought was right even if he stood alone. Born the only child to his parents he was never without want of something but it surprisingly did not turn his head but instead found him wanting to make sure everyone had that chance. Frank doesn't believe that your blood purity should have anything to do with your status in the world and he fights actively to put down those who are trying to make it that way.

From a young age Frank knew he wanted to be an Auror, his mother standing behind him the whole way even if she was petrified for her only son to be out on the front lines constantly. Now at the age of twenty four he has already made a name for himself in the Ministry as a man that is efficient yet kind and merciful. That mentality has transferred over into his other line of work which is for the Order of Phoenix, his ties in the Auror office help gain inside information for the underground group and it also helps to have someone laying false trails when the Ministry gets too close to figuring out it's members.

Frank has a secret though. In the past few months he has been accosted by Death Eaters with an invitation to join their ranks and play as a spy for them on the Ministry and give them any other information he may have. Of course Frank turned them down immediately and was appalled at the thought that they would even ask him to do such a thing. The Death Eaters let him walk away and have yet to bother him personally since but still there is a nagging thought in the back of his mind that they aren't going to just let his refusal lie. No one tells Voldemort no afterall. Still though Frank goes on with his life fighting for what is right but he is always looking over his shoulder now, always paranoid that the Death Eaters are going to appear on his doorstep again and this time not be as accommodating. This is a secret Frank has kept to himself and has been living with for months but we all know only three people can keep a secret if two of them are dead.

Frank would have plots within the Order, Ministry and Death Eaters as well he is the love interest of Alice, who is in play and would love to have him around.

LUCIUS MALFOY - 20

Lucius Malfoy's life is perfect. Well, almost perfect. The only child and heir to the massive Malfoy fortune, he has never been wanted for anything. At Hogwarts he was a prefect, and member of Professor Slughorn's exclusive club of "who's who". Lucius was born with silver spoon in hand, and has not let go of it since. This has changed now that his parents have begun pressuring him to marry.

While far from a ladies man, Lucius has always enjoyed the company of woman, or at least women of the proper pedigree. However, despite all this time spent in the company of the daughters of the best pureblood families, no one has ever stood out. No one except for the youngest Black sister. Of course, he cannot simply tell Abraxas that he wants to marry Narcissa Black, and wait for him to deal with the technicalities of ensuring it happened. He did not just want Narcissa for her name, or her brilliant blonde hair. He loved her. Or at least had the sneaking suspicion that he did.

Lucius has known Narcissa forever and sometimes things get a bit out of hand. To preserve her honour they got married which infuriated the in-laws but they can't change it now. Besides, who would want to?

Lucius will have plots with Death Eaters, the Pureblood elite and, of course, his new wife Narcissa.

MINERVA MCGONAGALL - 43

Dumbledore's right hand woman, Minerva McGonagall is one of the most talented witches of her age. Or any age for that matter. A Scottish halfblood of interesting family history she is, of course, the Transfiguration teacher at Hogwarts but she isn't as simple as all that, something a number of students have failed to notice and are bound to find out soon.

Minerva is instrumental in vetting who ought to be brought into the Order as well as grooming their youngest recruits. Very little gets past her and what does has to be very sneaky indeed. She is the voice of reason to some of Dumbledore's wilder and more questionable plans, for while he is focused on the bigger picture Minerva is always there to ask if it is the right step to take. She is the moral center and eternal caregiver and though many assume she has no sense of humour that doesn't mean she doesn't know how to laugh.

Minerva is one of the leaders of the Order and as such would have a powerful position in their leadership framework, she also is a Professor and would have many plots within the school both with other professors and the students there.

KINGSLEY SHACKLEBOLT - 35+

He is one of the most notable personas in the Order for sure. In the middle of a curious gaggle of Order members, Kingsley is one of its more levelheaded and steady pillars.

Kingsley has little memory of Grindelwald but raised by parents who's lived through it, and his childhood was otherwise filled with tales about it. He is there to witness the steady rise of Voldemort's power and this time around, he knows just what a war truly looks like. Now they are at it again and it seems the law he believes in and promises to uphold isn't enough to hold back the Dark Wizard. It doesn't feel right. Not at all.

With a name belonging to one of the more notable of the purebloods -- part of the Sacred Twenty-Eight! -- for this war he's expected to choose sides. It's an easy choice for Kingsley. He trusts Dumbledore and believes in the greater good, so what if he has to work with psychopomps, con artists, Healers, and people just out of school they still look a bit green?

He keeps his calm about this -- he's very good at keeping calm, really.

Also I ask you: how can you resist Idris Elba?

Kingsley would have plots with the Order, he is one of the senior members and a leader and with the Ministry, particularly our Department of Magical Law Enforcement plots where we have many ongoing investigations.

HIPPOCRATES SMETHWYCK - 40+

Hippocrates Smethwyk is a tough nut to crack. The recently appointed Head of the 'Dangerous' Dai Llewellyn Ward, it takes a special sort of person to take care of the people who come to St. Mungo's because they were injured by magical creatures. Hippocrates is just that sort of person. With a history in the study of Magical Creatures he took up healing people, why is not something he often likes to talk about—personal history is not something he likes to get into at work.

Creature Injuries has always had a bit of rivalry with Spell Damage who widely regard themselves as the sort of rock-stars of the Hospital, but, well, Hippocrates has a few things to say about that.

There is also the issues of late, the rumblings of those demanding segregated treatment which he absolutely won't have (but it is difficult to stop when he is not around). Not only that, one of his children was killed in January 1978 during a kidnapping. It is the sort of thing that could drive a man to rather extreme measures.

Hippocrates would have plots with other healers as well as those who have an interest in Magical creatures as a focus of study.

ARTHUR WEASLEY - 26+

Arthur Weasley: a loving husband, proud father, and a somewhat goofy collector of all sorts of muggle items. Arthur works for the Ministry, in the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office—which seems like a bit of a conflict of interest really. He fell deeply in love with Molly Prewett while at Hogwarts and the two married soon after graduation. The pair created five wonderful children (and counting) and is currently living in the outskirts of Ottery St. Catchpole, England, at the official Weasley family residence.

Everything is a bit mad there, but that is part of the charm.

He is a man of strong principles, both well-meaning and responsible, but sometimes his fun and childishly excitable and curious side gets the best of him. Although coming from an old pureblood family, Arthur enjoys neither fame, nor old family money, but quite frankly, he doesn’t care for either. He’s an Order member, firmly opposes the Purist ideology, and thinks muggle’s ingenuity is cooler than a cat’s pyjamas—or even a cat IN pyjamas.

Arthur will have plots with the Order, particularly the Prewetts as his brothers-in-law and other Ministry employees.

MOLLY WEASLEY - 26+

A quick overview of the matron of the Weasley clan: She is the mother of five (currently), sister of twins and wife of a muggle obsessed husband.

Molly is the eldest sibling of the close knit Prewett family, her twin brothers are running around saving the world in the Order alongside her husband but unlike Arthur they are not settling down like she feels that should. Despite having her own (all five of them under the age of eight) children to take care of she still finds time to chase down Gideon and Fabian and demand they eat a good meal and to press them about being careful with everything that is going on. Molly has always been a mother even before she had children of her own, always caring and worrying over her friends and family members.

Despite familial protests, eighteen was too young to marry, Molly married her Hogwarts sweetheart almost directly out of school and it wasn't long before they started their family. Life isn't the easiest for the Weasley's; money or prestige was something neither of them came from despite being part of the Sacred Twenty Eight, but that doesn't stop them from loving life. They work hard and love deeply and to them that's what life is really about.

Molly will have plots with the Order, other mothers, Arthur if he is made, and her brothers, of course.

Other notes: We would also love more Healers, Quidditch players and students if they strike your fancy.
