Overview
Requesting RPG is for those who have searched for an RP and couldn't find the one just for them. Rather than you going to the boards, the boards and their owners come to you! With their best advertisements at their disposal, owners will do their best to lure you to their board. With luck though, the advertisements posted within will hopefully lead you to the board of your dreams.
This section has been broken up into two forums to help your request get the most accurate and helpful responses.
RP Request - This forum can be used for two different things:
General Requests - For those that just want a board, any board. These requests are very open and flexible and not looking to play anywhere specific - such as those for new RPers or those looking to get back into things. Or this is for those looking for specific features such as a shop or quest based games.
Genre Specific Requests - For those looking for games of a specific genre or fandom. These requests can be broad or they can be narrow. They can cover a wide variety of genres, to just a few.
Specific Character Request - For those that have a specific character in mind and are in search of a board. These requests can include rough ideas to fully fledged characters who simply need a home, or a new home.
Rules
The following are general rules that apply to Requesting RPG. The main rule for this section is respect - respect for topic starters, topic repliers, and fellow repliers. Repeated rule violations will result in a suspension at the discretion of the Staff Team.
General
If you see a person not following the rules (such as not using a form or posting without reading the topic), please use the "Report" feature of RPG-D. The "Report" button is found at the bottom of every topic. Let the Support Team know so they can take care of any issues.
Requesters
Respect the repliers. Make sure to be as clear and specific as possible in your request. Always make sure you use the proper form, and let people know how the search is going for you. Also, make sure to appropriately title your topics.
You may bump your topic once every seven days. After two weeks of no activity in your topic, it will be archived.
You may only start a new topic once a week per forum. This means that if you start a topic today in one forum, you have to wait a week to start another one in the same forum.
Request filled? Archive it! If your request has been filled, consider archiving it here.
Repliers
Respect both topic starters and fellow repliers. Please do not post your site more than ten times in twenty-four hours in the whole Requesting RPG area. And always make sure that your site matches the topic starter's request!
Only post one reply per topic regardless of how many sites you own or play on. Additional replies will be removed and may be considered spam.
Do not reply to a topic if the requester has not used the proper form. Any replies posted where the requester has not used a form may be hidden from view until the correct form is added.
Do not tag other people or promote sites that you do not personally play on. If you think someone's site would be a perfect fit for the Requester, please PM the person who owns that site and direct them to the topic.
Forms
Please take special note of which form goes where. Those who do not use the proper form have 24 hours to make corrections before their topics are archived.
