Role(s) requested: I will be putting up some of our site-wide plot characters in the other want-ad forum. These here are characters that are, in some way or fashion, connected to my personal characters on the site. All listed play-bys/face claims are suggestions only. Personalities, occupations, gender identity, sexuality, etc. are up to the player picking up the want ad. This also includes parts of the history that are not vital to the connection with my characters. It is important to me that the person picking up the want ad feels like the character created is their character and not just a hand me down or a luke warm version of someone elses creation. I am ALWAYS open to discussion and suggestions.
1. Band Members for MYTHOS, a Mythical punk/grunge inspired band.
Genna Marie Gote, otherwise known as "Pipes", is a Satyr, the lead singer and bassist for Mythos. She established the band while in high school in Chicago around 40 years ago. They have traveled the world doing multiple tours. Five years ago the band relocated to Rising Falls, Washington when Pipes found out from her estranged parents that her grandfather's health was failing and he wanted the family to try and reconcile. The band agreed to move with her and they have spent the past few years working on a new album, spending time in the studio, and doing smaller 'tours, doing weekends around the country as well as surprise pop up gigs. The band is Pipes' family, her baby, and she would do anything (yes, even take a bullet) for her bandmates.
Brick Connor is a half-Centaur and the drummer for Mythos. He has been with the band for about ten years now, joining them mid-tour in Budapest when their drummer fell madly in love over night and decided he had to follow his heart and marry the girl, putting all his wicked ways behind him so that he could prove his love and devotion to a woman that to this day Pipes still doesn't know the name of.
LOOKING FOR: Lead Guitarist, Second Guitarist, Possible Keyboard Player, Song Writer (Can be one or more of the band members, Pipes does write some of the songs as well). Also considering/looking for a band member. ALL band members including the manager MUST be Mythicals. No humans allowed! Mythicals do include witches and half breeds. Everything else is negotiable.
2. Davian Chapparal - Older Brother - Dryad or Wood Nymph - 169 years old - Suggested PB Gary Dourdan
Davian was born in 1895, ten years before his younger sister made a surprise appearance into the world. His family was from the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois, a protected land which provided a safe place for not only the Nymphs, but other Mythicals to hide away from the humans. Davian instantaneously became his sister's protector and the two were inseparable for most of her young life. Once his sister hit her teens and spent a lot of time in the city their relationship became more strained. Davian is not a city person, the loud noises, the crush of people, and the constant bombardment to all the senses would wear him out both physically and emotionally. Even after his sister left home, causing a lot of stress within the family, she and he spoke at least once a week. About 70 years ago when their parents went dormant Davian ended up moving to Oregon.
Some concepts for Davian - He has always been the protector. He is the level-headed one in the family, the peace keeper, the mediator. He prefers life in the woods, in smaller towns, then big cities and is sensitive to lots of noise/smog/crowds/etc. Choice of occupation is open, but I can see him involved in politics, Mythical rights, environmentalism, maybe even a teacher or the medical field.

3. Oron - The Best Friend - Centaur - Around 162-165 years old - Suggested PB Jamie Dornan
Name: Oron [Surname]
- Born in the late 1800s to a Herd of Centaur living in the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois. (280,000 acres of protected land)
- Became best friends with Devika in her early teenage years
- Did not care for living in the isolation of the woods and spent as much time possible in the city.
- Oron and Devika truly embraced the culture of the roaring twenties; dancing, smoking, and drinking
- While never an official 'couple', Oron was Devika's first sexual experience and the two of them had a lot of fun together without the usual societal pressures of being exclusive
- Oron decided he needed to leave the forest where he felt stifled and explore the world. He convinced Devika to come along with him and they moved to NYC.
- Met up with a group of Centaurs there and fell in with them, eventually separating with Devika who went her own way
- By the late 1990s he ended up in Washington State and bumped into Devika's brother Davian. Getting her number from him, Oron was the one to let her know about the rumblings of the Mythicals coming out of the closet. He had never been a fan of hiding his true self, resenting humans for forcing them all into hiding.
Most of Oron's history and personality is open to the player. As a teenager he was a rebel and a partier. He has never liked the idea of hiding and has never been a big fan of humans. He has traveled and been involved with various herds throughout the years, seeming to fall back to being with his own species no matter how much he travels. He and Devika have a special relationship together although it has been decades since they have seen each other. While at one point they did have a sexual relationship that does not have to come into play in current time. There was always some tension and the relationship hidden from most because of the fact they were two different species. I think there are a lot of possibilities for plots with Oron coming back into Devika's life, especially if Davian is adopted as well. I am open to any and all suggestions for Oron and what he has been up to over the years.
4. The Gote Family - Satyrs - Father, Mother, & Grandfather - Suggested PBs: Tommy Lee, Sabrina Kelley, Frank Langella

Giovanni Antonio Gote - "Tony Sr." - Satyr Born in 1920, Tony was running errands for the Mafia before he was a teenager. Earning the name "Tight Lips" he was well trusted not only by his bosses, but also by other Satyrs. In 1938 he would meet the love of his life, Rosa, and they would marry and have their only child in 1975, Tony Junior. When Tony Jr. and his wife Fay had a child of their own, his only grandchild, Genna, she would become the love of his life. Nicknaming her Pipes for her angelic voice, she soon would follow in his footsteps. Tony Sr. and Pipes have an extremely close relationship and it was this fact that would eventually drive a wedge between Pipes and her parents and strain the relationship between Tony Sr. and his son.

Tony and Fay have been happily married for 61 years now. They had one child, Genna, otherwise known as Pipes. Life was good for the most part, the only major argument in the family being Tony Senior's mafia ties and continuing involvement with them. When Tony and Fay discovered that he had involved his grand daughter, their child, in the lifestyle it began to rip the family apart. After high school Genna moved out, continuing to do jobs for the mob while traveling with her band, which made a perfect front. Tony Senior would eventually move out to Rising Falls for retirement. The family remained estranged until about five years ago when Tony Senior's health begin to deteriorate and his one wish was to have his family back together. (It has since been discovered by Pipes that her grandfather had other reasons for choosing Rising Falls to live out his last days.) Tony Jr. and Fay moved out to Rising Falls and Genna too eventually followed with her band in tow. Now they are trying to patch old hurts and spend time together while they can although it hasn't been the easiest. They are trying though.

5. Girls! Girls! Girls! (And boys too!) Needed for Exclusive Escort Business
Ivy Marlowe, a Harpy who moved to Rising Falls when the Mythicals first came out, is a world renowned Madame and has run one of the most exclusive escort services for the past century. Starting out in the 1950s Ivy has slowly grown her brand from that of a small time glorified prostitute trying to be an escort to one of the most powerful and influential Madames in history. She holds private and personal information about politicians, royalty, corporate giants, movie stars, and financial movers and shakers from all around the world. She could cause wide-spread ruin with just a few phone calls. Yet Ivy is a very intelligent woman and she knows that with this information, with this power, comes great responsibility and over the past century she has earned the trust of many. Ivy knows how to wield the information she has carefully and with great restraint. Most of the time simply having the information is enough.
One of the reasons Ivy has been able to build her business is in large part due to those that she hires. Ivy does not employ escorts, prostitutes, or whores. Sure they may have started out that way, but by the time she is done training them they are courtesans. New employees, from those who answer the phones and make appointments through the ranks to her top girls all go through at least six months of training. Ivy doesn't just employ pretty people; she employs brilliant, pretty people. If you don't speak at least three languages fluently she had no time for you. If you can't discuss politics, foreign policy, literature, and demonstrate a healthy wit then you aren't even qualified to have a first interview.
Ivy expects complete and total loyalty from her employees and she does not give second chances. In exchange, however, she takes very good care of those who work for her. The company has been set up as a completely legal entity; Ivy pays taxes and everything, and because of it she provides her employees full health care coverage. She pays well, makes sure all her employees take vacation time during the year, and offers to pay for any additional education they may want including in the arts. She invests a lot in her employees, but it has always come out to her benefit as most of them have been with her for years and turn over is very rare.
The Want Ad: Looking for characters to play escorts - they can be male or female and can be any species. Also looking for a female personal assistant and maybe one more bodyguard type character. Personalities are open, but please read the above before submitting a character to make sure they fit in with what Ivy hires. If the character has a bad attitude or never finished high school (and isn't willing to go back to school) she isn't going to hire them. 6. Roger Bramblet - Witch - ~195 years old - Suggested PB Alexander Skarsgård
Roger Bramblet is a man from Ivy Marlowe's past and the reason behind why she is the woman she is today. They met when she was only nineteen and he changed her world forever, for the better. She hasn't seen him since the 1980s when he declared she had made it and it was time for him to move on.
Roger's history before meeting Ivy and after they separated in the 1980s will be up to the person who adopts him. Roger has a mysterious air about him, he has or comes from money, and he is a powerful witch. It was never explained (in the bio or to Ivy herself) as to why he chose her, if he had done it before, if he did it again. Roger is not an American, I see him as possibly English, but open to suggestions. He has impeccable manners, dresses well, is some sort of business man, but doesn't necessarily have to be "good" or on the up and up. His and Ivy's relationship was not a sexual one at the time, although when she was 19 she was convinced she might be a little in love with him.

In the winter of 1928, a month after her 19th birthday and in the heart of prohibition she would meet a man who would change her life forever. Roger Bramblet. That week he showed up at the Cabana Club every night and would dance with her. She had no idea how truly brilliant he was, but the first thing he taught her was to read the dinner menu and how to add the prices of the meals in her head. She began to pick up on these studies on her own, a part of her wanting to impress this man, the other just hungry for any kind of knowledge. He would be the first Mythical other than her mother that she had ever met, or at least the first one who would reveal himself to her his true form. A Witch. One night while dancing on the rooftop of the Marlowe building, Roger asked Ivy, as he had begun to call her, if she believed in magic. She was about to laugh him off as being silly when suddenly he pulled energy up through what she would learn was a ley line, into his hand, and form a flame right there in front of her eyes, but she didn't feel fear, she felt possibilities.
Ivy spent the 1950’s and part of the 60’s studying and educating herself, spending most of her time with Roger learning her true history, the history of the Harpies and of other Mythicals. She was exhausted and the changing times and mentality of society as a whole was too much for her to handle. It brought back too many memories. She reemerged into society in the sixties during the sexual revolution and women’s movement. She thrived in this environment. Going to night school she was finally able to get her college degree and set up shop. Ivy Marlowe began to be known in the business circles as a top-notch escort.
Note - Before creating the character or taking the want ad, please discuss the concept with me. This character is very integral in Ivy's life and has to have a certain personality and has to be able to tie into her life seamlessly. I am always happy to work with people and do try to meet half way, especially on a want-ad, however it really has to be very specific in several areas as noted. His gender, species, personality, and power is non-negotiable. This character has a special power to be able to extend his lifespan. While it is not currently on the powers list it will be added soon. This -must- be one of his powers.
7. The Lost Boys - Centaur Motorcycle Club - PBs open - Males only for the MC - Females may become old ladies
The Lost Boys is a MC in Rising Falls. Slade Murphy is the President for the MC, please read his bio as it contains not only his history, but the history of the MC. Current open positions are the VP, SA, Secretary, and Treasurer. There may also be an opening for an Enforcer. Of course there are also openings for members or prospects. The clubs main focus is running drugs and also "Mythical" black market items through the Black Market. These are not going to be nice people. They are going to be murderers, drug runners, and other kinds of convicts. These aren't going to be men who are just waiting for "the right woman" to convert them, like some Harlequin romance novel. The Club is their life, their family, and anyone who disrespects the colors will be handled swiftly and not kindly. If you may be interested in making a member of the MC, let me know and let's discuss.

As with many of the original motorcycle clubs, The Lost Boys MC was formed in 1947 at the end of WWII. The founding members were all veterans, back from the war and looking for something to focus on, distract themselves, or just looking for that camaraderie they had in the service. The main difference between The Lost Boys and other MCs of the time was that this one was made up solely of Centaurs. Of course in this time during history no one knew of the existence of Mythicals and the members of The Lost Boys were quite happy about that. In fact, even now, they do not advertise themselves as a Mythical MC or a Centaur MC and the members are content to keep that information from humans as was always the way.
The club originally started in NYC but over the years developed chapters across the United States. When the lifespans of the members could start become questionable the chapters would exchange their members, constantly keeping in movement to keep unwanted attention off of them. Over the years the MC has had their fingers in many different things, mostly depending on the area they were based in and supply and demand. The one business they have been in since the beginning, however, is moving Mythical items on the black market; including Phoenix tears, Unicorn horns, Pixie dust, and more. People might be surprised at just how long the market for these things has existed.
The Rising Falls chapter of The Lost Boys MC didn't come into existence until the mid seventies. While there had always been rumors that the small town had a high population of Mythicals in it, which could be good for business, the Club had bigger fish and cities to fry first. In 1976 a Centaur aptly nicknamed Bruno was sent with a small band to check the city out and get a feel for the local color. Since the town didn't have an official Band at the time it ended up working out much better then originally expected and the MC made themselves a home and a quite profitable business in the small town. In the past 90 years the leadership of the Rising Falls chapter of The Lost Boys has exchanged hands several times, keeping in the tradition of keeping a human face to the club even after the Mythicals came out. Ten years ago Slade Murphy was sent out from NYC, not just to take over leadership, but also shake things up within the MC. Over the years some of the members have become lax, not only within the MC rules, but within the standards and expectations of Centaurs in general. Not only did Slade come in and cleaned up (and cleared out) a lot of those members, set down new rules, and established himself as uncontested leader of the Rising Falls chapter, but he has since increased their business ten fold. Not only does the MC still run Mythical black market products, but they have got into the drug business as well, especially a new designer drug said to be created by witches and formulated especially for Mythicals, giving them an extra special high. The drug comes in from across the border in Canada and then right through the sleepy little tourist town of Rising Falls.
