Let's call his guy Chris (because original, right?)
This is the guy that will just waltz into Reagan's life and spin it. Like, she actually describes it that way, but with more vulgar words and angrier. He's everything she's looking for in a partner, even if she refuses to see it because she's stubborn.
He should probably be in a different usergroup, something a bit more upbeat like Carnaby, Grosvenor, or even Mayfair because as much as he is like her, he also isn't. There will probably be a lot of times where he'll be aloof and fun and just light about issues or situations where she takes super seriously. He will drive her up a wall and have lots of tension between them, but Reagan won't be sure if it's because she wants to push him against the wall and kiss him or if she wants to push him against the wall to strangle him. Fun!
I'm thinking he probably should be in a similar type of career? Law, politics... maybe he could even be something that interacts with those a lot like a reporter or whatever. He should be able to know stuff about her and she hasn't told him. Digging up and dishing it just like she does, maybe even better.
NAME DORSET
GARY OLDMAN. PARLIAMENT MEMBER. 60+
Dear old Da, head of the household, Parliament Member Dorset. He's a good man, serious, and tries to do best by his family. His loyalty remains strong with his country and might even triumph his loyalty to his own kin at times, oops.
A doting father in his children's younger years, he also had a firm hand. Quite proper, GARY likes proceeding the proper way. He's conscientious about appearances and makes sure his office and home run like clockwork. Consequentially, even though he loved his first wife dearly (Reagan's mother), there was something unspoken between them that could never be mended. A gap that could not be closed.
Once he married his second wife, he essentially lost two children and gained two. Even though he appears happy, believes he is happy, he is pretty much in denial. Yet his emotions would never betray him and take over his composure.
NAME DORSET
KRISTIN CHENOWETH. STEP-MOM. 45+
KRISTIN's (Dorset née Hammond) history is pretty open, but she is pretty transparent. She married PM Dorset because of his power, security, and because she does care about him. Even if it's not to the extent as he cares about her (is it more?) she stands by his side as the perfect wife. She knows how the social game is played, always makes an appearance in public, and seems to be the perfect mother and step-mother of four children.
Except she's not because she's the perfect mother for two of this kids, her own by birth. She preens her daughter to meld into high society and pampers her son rotten. Neither of them given any favors in life. Honestly, she just wants to do the best she can for her children; she just wants them to have everything she couldn't and a happy life.
At first, Kristin really did try to get along with her step-children. But instantly, they showed their dislike, so she dropped the act, only to seem like they got along whenever her husband was around. I imagine she might needs Reagan's help at sometime due to some information that gets public, which will be a huge circus, but we'll see.
NAME HAMMOND
CLAIRE HOLT. STEP-SISTER. 29-31
The daughter of Kristin, CLAIRE Hammond is everything that Reagan hates all embodied into one catty being. There probably isn't an actual redeeming quality about this woman, but I'm sure one can be dug out from the depths of her soul.
Upon moving in with the Dorsets, Claire instantly saw Reagan as competition. She was used to getting her way and being the only princess in the house. She was the one who deserved all the attention. Try as she might, she would only come in second place to Reagan's accomplishments in school and extracurricular activities. She even tried bullying her way into dominance, mean girls and all, but still no luck.
Claire knows she will never be number one in her step-father's eyes, but that doesn't mean she can't try to be, right? Even if it screws her sister dear over...
She is referred to as Diana in Reagan's app, but she should have a different name since there's a Diana on the site.
NAME HAMMOND
FREDDIE HIGHMORE. STEP-BROTHER. 24-27
FREDDIE Hammond is the second little brat of the Hammond duo that plagues Reagan's family. He's often overlooked by his step-father and since he's a huge mummy's boy, gets away with a lot. Like everything. He could cause a car crash and be the lone survivor, causing a huge scandal and not have to face any consequences. Yeah. That guy.
He probably only tries to talk to Regan and Hemmy because he wants to cause a scene or wants money. Eventually, he and Reagan will form some sort of bond that even she can't figure out how it happened.
Being said, he's reckless, spends too much money, likes public attention and to be seen with the A-list crowd. He doesn't strive to achieve much. He has a degree from uni, but in all is a socialite. Little does he know that being outed as gay would be the one thing that causes a stir within his family.
