Every week from December 4, 2013 – December 27, 2013 Royal Purple (“Royal Purple” or “Sponsor”) will host the Grudge Match Trivia Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) on the Royal Purple Facebook Fan Page (www.facebook.com/officialroyalpurple) and Twitter handle @royalpurpleinc. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, a week is defined as Wednesday through Sunday (each, a “Week”).
By answering the Weekly trivia question correctly, participants will be eligible for the random drawing for the Grudge Match/Royal Purple prize pack. Items may include a Grudge Match, poster, t-shirt, and hat, a Royal Purple drawstring bag, decal, koozie, license plate and logo t-shirt, and Hollywood Movie Money vouchers. All items are subject to change based upon availability of merchandise and t-shirt size requested.
Trivia question will be posted on the Royal Purple Facebook fan page (www.facebook.com/officialroyalpurple) and cross posted on the @RoyalPurpleInc Twitter handle at 7 a.m. CST scheduled via the established Royal Purple Hootsuite account.
Each week’s Sweepstakes will be hosted on Royal Purple’s Wildfire account. The entry window will open each week at 7 a.m. CST on each Wednesday of the contest’s duration and the entry period will close at 11:59 p.m. CST Sunday. The winner’s pool will be determined by those who answered the trivia question correctly. The randomly drawn Weekly winners and Grand Prize winner will be selected by Sponsor using http://www.randomizer.org and will be notified via email of their win. Each Week’s winner will be announced on the Royal Purple Facebook fan page and Twitter handle Monday at approximately 12 p.m. CST following Sponsor’s verification of such winner.
Weekly Prizes: Four (4) Weekly prizes (one each Week of the campaign) will be awarded to a randomly drawn winner from the pool of submitted correct answers.
Grand Prize: A random drawing for the Grand Prize will be held on December 27, 2013. Eligible entrants are those who submitted a correct answer to the trivia question throughout the duration of the Sweepstakes Period (defined below).
One (1) Grand Prize includes a case of Royal Purple motor oil (SAE or HPS only, XPR excluded) and a Royal Purple filter, if applicable, Royal Purple logo t-shirt, drawstring bag, koozie and license plate. ARV: $161 USD.
Grand Prize winner will be notified by e-mail and must fill out a winner’s affidavit and return it within seven (7) days of notification of receipt of win.
Winners must respond to claim their prize via reply email and supply the following information: full name, mailing address and phone number (for FedEx delivery). Information supplied will not be used for any marketing purposes by Royal Purple LLC, Calumet Specialty LTD, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., or any of their respective subsidiaries.
Delivery: Please allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for delivery of prize based on availability and shipping time.
Eligibility: No purchase necessary to enter or to claim the prize. The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. Royal Purple, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, advertising agencies, and the families and persons living in the same household such as employees are not eligible to participate. The Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. Void where prohibited or restricted by law or regulations.
How to Enter:
Correctly answer the Grudge Match Trivia Question as posted on the Sweepstakes Facebook and Twitter platforms each Week during the Sweepstakes Period. Each week an approved creative image will be posted with the week’s trivia question. With the image a link to enter will be posted as copy. The link will re-direct the entrant to the sweepstakes application hosted on Wildfire where he or she will select an answer (multiple choice with three options provided, one answer is correct) and provide entry information.
One (1) entry per week per Facebook/Twitter account.
The Sweepstakes begins at 7 a.m. Central Standard Time (“CST”) on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CST on Dec 26, 2013 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the entrant will be the registered owner of the Facebook or Twitter account.
Selection of Weekly Winners and Grand Prize Winner: At the close of each Week, Sponsor will randomly select one (1) Weekly winner from all eligible entries received during each Week who have correctly answered such week’s trivia question. At the end of the Sweepstakes, one (1) Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected by the Sponsor from the eligible pool of entries who have submitted the correct answers to the question. The odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.
The winners will be notified by email on the Monday immediately following each weekly trivia date (Dec. 9, Dec. 16, Dec. 23 and Dec. 30) by 5 p.m. CST. The decision of the Sponsor is final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within seven (7) days of receipt of winning notification or the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be randomly selected. Valid email, mailing address and phone number must be provided in order to receive the Grudge Match and Royal Purple merchandise.
Prizes:
One (1) Grand Prize, randomly selected winner will receive: a case of Royal Purple motor oil and RP oil filter if applicable, Royal Purple drawstring bag, koozie, license plate and logo t-shirt. Only SAE and HPS motor oils are eligible. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $161.
Four (4) Weekly Prizes, randomly selected winners will each receive from Royal Purple: One (1) Royal Purple drawstring bag ARV $5, (1) decal ARV .25, (1) koozie ARV $3, (1) license plate ARV $5 and (1) logo t-shirt ARV $8. The ARV of each Weekly Prize is $21.25. Weekly prizes provided by Warner Bros. include: (1) T-Shirt ARV $15, (1) Beanie ARV $10, (1) Desktop Punching Ball ARV $20, (1) Keychain ARV $5, (1) Poster $15 (1) pair of Hollywood Movie Money ARV $24 (Each prize pack worth $89). All items are subject to change based upon availability.
Product and gear will be shipped directly to the winner’s shipping address provided by the winner. All prizes must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable, or redeemable for cash or for resale. ALL PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. In the event that a prize is unavailable, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. No responsibility will be accepted by the Sponsor for any lost or misdirected mail. Weekly Prize winners will each receive Hollywood Movie Money® Certificates. Each Hollywood Movie Money Certificate is redeemable for one (1) movie admission with a maximum value of ($24 total) to see Grudge Match (or any other film) at a participating theatre. Winners will be directed to the website http://www.activaterewards.com where they will use the provided reward code to activate and print their Hollywood Movie Money Certificate. The reward code will expire on 12/31/2014. The Hollywood Movie Money Certificate will expire one (1) month from online code activation and winner must comply with all terms and conditions specified by the issuer. Hollywood Movie Money Certificate not used by the date noted on the certificate will be void. Any amount remaining of any certificate after initial use will be forfeited. If a Hollywood Movie Money Certificate is lost, it cannot be replaced. Void if resold or otherwise exchanged. No reproductions will be accepted. No change will be provided. Not valid with any other offer. Prize winners will be solely responsible for all federal, state, and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the prizes they receive, regardless of whether they, in whole or in part, are used. The ARV of all prizes awarded in this Sweepstakes is US Dollars ($271.25).

Sponsor’s use of information submitted by entrants in connection with this Sweepstakes will be subject to the terms and conditions stated in these Official Rules. All materials submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. By accepting a prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name, image, likeness, photograph, voice and biographical material and entry submission for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes by Sponsor, or a party designated by Sponsor, in any and all media now or hereafter known including but not limited to, any online announcements, or for sharing this information with the press for viewing, whether TV or print, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law. Releasees are not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, illegible, damaged or misdirected entries or mail. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend part or all of the Sweepstakes modify these Official Rules at any time without notice, if in the judges’ opinion there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if any virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or integrity and proper play of the Sweepstakes or for any other reason in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor may void any entries they suspect are at issue and award the prize from among all non-suspect eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates the rules or interferes with the Sweepstakes in any manner. If an entrant is disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate such entrant’s eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes. Any attempt by an individual to access any website associated with the Sweepstakes via a bot script or other brute force attack or any other unauthorized means will result in that individual’s IP address and all entries from that IP address becoming ineligible. Use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited.
Disputes: Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the eligible participant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Texas, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Texas.
