Basketball has been one of my favorite spots. May it be because it was the only sport game I played it in middle school and highscool. We were divided in two teams. half of us played handball, the other half basketball. I always found a way to be on the basketball team.
Now, years later, basketball is still my favorite game. I’m not a football person at all. I doubt I can name 5 football teams, don’t know when is the big game day or who took home the trophy, but ask me about basketball and I can tell you everything.
Whenever there’s a game on TV it is game day here! Snacks, finger foods, little sweet treats all make their appearance in the family room and one by one we find a comfy place to watch the game. A few times, depending on who’s playing we make in home bets – the prize can be anything from a candy to cleaning the dishes. Nothing fancy, but boy, it’s so fun! (especially when someone else will do the dishes)….
