They both came out at roughly the same time last night though - I imagine the Mirror one has today's time stamp because it contains revised stuff. I read it last night on there anyway after seeing this link on a Wigan forum.
Quite a few news sites that also produce physical papers try and hold back their 'scoops' until as late as possible to avoid the competition from stealing their bylines for the next days edition - which could explain why Sports Direct often print up stories before they appear elsewhere if someone were indeed selling the same stories to multiple sources, slightly rejigged under a pen name...
