Big Bear Lake, CA – DEADPOOL, an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comic character of the same name, will be the feature film of the Big Bear Chamber first-ever Movie Night on Wednesday, February 24.

The 6 p.m. showing of the film  — starring Morena Baccarin, Ryan Reynolds and Gina Carano — will be at Village Theater with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.

PURCHASE TICKETS AT CHAMBER

Tickets — discount priced at $7 each — must be purchased in advance at the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce office located at 630 Bartlett Road in Big Bear Lake.

“DEADPOOL” is an action hero movie, however a media release from the Chamber cautions that the film is rated R for strong violence and language, sexual content and graphic nudity.

Audiences under the age of 17 will not be admitted without a parent or adult guardian.

Chamber Movie Night is exclusive to Big Bear Chamber of Commerce members, their employees and of-age family members only.

“DEADPOOL” follows mercenary  Wade Wilson, who becomes Deadpool after being subjected to an experiment that leaves him with new abilities.  With an uncanny sense of humor and a unwavering mission, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

The movie has been released by 20th Century FOX and Marvel Entertainment.
