Blue Jay, CA – Two candidates for a vacancy on the Rim of the World Unified School District’s Board of Education — Ron Kelly and Amy Sharrow — will be interviewed during a special board meeting at 9 a.m. on Friday, December 18.

The interviews for a provisional appointment will be held in the District Office Conference Rook at 27315 North Bay Road in Blue Jay.

Following the interviews, the public will be invited to address the board during the discussion period related to the provisional appointment.

Board President Cindy Gardner told ROTWNEWS.com there were initially four candidates for the seat vacated when Tamara Decroo resigned in November due to family matters.

“There are two candidates,” Gardner reported after all four were checked for eligibility by the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters Michael J. Scarpello.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Once the discussion is closed, Gardner and trustees Leslie Bramson, Richard Lavin and Scott Markovich will vote to appoint either Kelly or Sharrow to the vacancy.
