The Board of Trustees of Rim of the World Unified School District have selected Giovanni H. Annous, Ed. D. as Superintendent effective July 1.
Dr. Annous was officially appointed at the June 17 Board Meeting following a statewide search conducted by the San Bernarduino County Superintendent of Schools office.
A media release indicates that Dr. Annous was named to the post for his collaborative leadership style, his commitment to students, and his demonstrated skills in community engagement.
Dr. Annous is currently Principal of Rim of the World High School. The media release indicates during his tenure at Rim High he was well known for his open communication, his problem solving abilities, and his commitment to build consensus among teachers, support staff, leaders and parents.

The new superintendent became Rim’s principal in August 2014.
