As the Lead Developer, you will be leading the software development team (4 people) and report directly to the CTO. While the CTO sets the overall strategy of the IT department, the Lead Developer - more hands on - is in charge of managing the software production (coding style, code review, software architecture, etc.)
You will also be responsible for designing and maintaining the business logic layer at the heart of TextMaster’s web application.

RESPONSABILITIES
Join an ambitious Development Team and strive to always improve your skills
Design new functionalities to TextMaster’s core platform
Maintain, refactor and improve existing functionalities
Follow the Test Driven Development (TDD) strategy of coding
Guide the Development Team from a technical point of view (design choices, coding style, etc.)
Review the work of all other developers to ensure its consistency (code review, testing, etc.)
Ensure the quality (bugs, design flaws, etc.) and delivery timeframe of all development deliverables
TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT
Back-end: Ruby on Rails (Rails 3.x)
Front-end: HAML, SASS, Coffee Script, HTML 5, CSS 3, JQuery, Ajax, etc.
Database: Mongodb via Mongoid 2.4.x
Testing Frameworks: Rspec, Capybara, Selenium, Poltergeist, etc.
Other tools:
- Source control: Git via Github,
- Continuous Integration: Semaphore
- Code review: Code Climate
PROFILE
Fluent English (oral and written)
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Software Engineering (preferred)
2 - 3 years of experience in a similar position
Autonomous, highly motivated, pro-active and very detailed oriented
