Mogreet is seeking a Senior Ruby Engineer to help us continue growing our successful SMS and MMS messaging platform.
Responsibilities:
Build, design, and code new features and enhancements across both user-facing and internal sites
Find and fix bugs, optimize scalability and performance
Support the software you write and deploy to our production environment
Improve our team’s skills even more through pairing, design/code reviews, and mentoring
Technical Skills:
Excellent knowledge of ruby and ruby on rails
Strong knowledge of javascript
Experience working with databases and key-value stores such as MySQL, Memcached and MongoDB
Experience working with testing frameworks such as Rspec, Test::Unit, Cucumber
Strong *nix skills
Pluses:
Experience writing server-side APIs
Contributions to open source software projects
Strong frontend skills (HTML, CSS, AJAX, JQuery, etc.)
Experience in Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development
SOA design
