I really don’t expect this to catch on, but, hey, I don’t see why it can’t, and at least it’s an alternative to an overuse of quotations or other strange punctuation forced internally around certain words. And honestly, I do think {.}, {!}, and {?} look kind of cool.
In a similar vein, I like to think Batman punctuates every one of his texts with whether it’s a statement or question. After all, I bet he’s got just so much time to text {.}
