Sorry Listen-in, I'm afraid Launceston messed up big style with their prevaricating. I can understand the desperation to continue with the fixture, what with the financial implications of cancelling - hospitality, sponsorship and the considerable revenue generated by Reds travelling support - but as noted before, conditions were considerably worse than they were when the Northampton game was cancelled.
That said, what's done is done and we'll hope for better conditions in February. Despite the rivalry - or maybe because of - both clubs need each other in these time of austerity, so I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all at Launceston a Merrry Xmas and a Happy New Year! Or, Nadelek Lowen ha Blydhen Nowydh Da - as we down here in Cornwall say
