Disturbed‘s critically acclaimed Immortalized has boasted three huge #1 hit singles since its release last August, with “The Sound of Silence” dominating in the #1 spot at Rock Radio for four weeks running now. Immediately upon the video’s release back in December, track sales took off and have continued to soar week over week – the single has now sold over 320K copies, making it#1 on the iTunes Rock Chart and #27 on the iTunes overall songs chart, and rapidly rising on theBillboard Hot 100. Formed in Chicago in 1996, the multi-platinum Disturbed – David Draiman [vocals], Dan Donegan [guitar], Mike Wengren [drums], and John Moyer [bass] – have sold over 15 million albums globally and scored twelve No. 1 singles at Rock Radio. Their quadruple-platinum 2000 debut The Sickness formally announced their arrival as hard rock leaders, with that status solidified by their subsequent Grammy Award nomination as well as gold-, platinum- and double platinum-certified records.
