2. How 'bout that play calling? Carolina had no run attempts on its last two drives despite the fact that the running game completely dominated the game. Mike Davis averaged eight yards per carry on 23 carries. Think he should have gotten a few more at the end of the game?

That being said, Hutson Mason's stat line was again . . .pedestrian. He was 11 of 17 for 121 yards, and 44 of those came on a single td strike to Chris Conley. Take that one out of the equation and he averaged 4.81 yards per pass attempt and 7.7 per completion. That's dreadful. He also had one bad interception and one even worse pass that should have been intercepted and likely returned for a pick six. I have defended Hutson Mason pretty steadfastly to this point. But I sense the coaches are trying to see if Brice Ramsey can take the job from him.
Florida

Florida gave up just five third down conversions on 17 attempts, doing better against Tennessee's theoretically competent offense than the No. 1-ranked and ballyhooed Tennessee third down defense did against a Florida offense (7-for-20) that played three quarters of this game with Driskel grooving passes to his receivers at 110 with nary a change-up in sight. Florida forced two turnovers, too, and, as noted, sacked Worley six times. About the only frustration I have with the defense today relates to its inability to get Tennessee off the field on the Vols' final drive, and, well, that drive ended with an excellent Keanu Neal pick.
Also, there was this moment from after the game, that someone brilliantly dubbed music over. It's catchy!

According to Bill Connelly's numbers, the probability of Alabama or Ole Miss finishing with a 6-2 SEC record entered Saturday at 46.9 and 43 percent, respectively. This game's result moves Ole Miss' to 56.2. Add in the fact that each will finish with a 4-0 record out of conference, and a New Year's Day bowl trip remains quite possible for both.

Or you could fall behind 17-0 as quickly as possible, and allow nearly 250 yards of offense in the first half while going three and out as many times as you can. The offense is a mess right now, but a lot of that was a young team getting caught staring at the bright lights of an opposing stadium. Freshmen played like freshmen, and once in a deep hole, they couldn't get out of it.

Nine different Auburn Tigers caught passes on the night, with Nick Marshall throwing two touchdown passes. The first touchdown of the night was on a beautiful pass, catch, and finish by Marshall to Sammie Coates. Coates - who has been hampered by injury all season - stepped up in a big way with four receptions for 144 yards. Marshall's other touchdown pass was to a wide-open CJ Uzomah who brought a tear to every Auburn fan's eyes with his rendition of the Lutzie after his score honoring former Auburn TE Philip Lutzenkirchen.
