Patrick Rea- (Canopy Boulder) 17-year veteran of startups, growth companies and big corporate entities. Background in M&A and venture capital with a focus on health, wellness and self-care.
State of the Industry Panel:
Gabe Fenton- (MJ Funding) MJ Funding Partners is a private equity firm based in Boulder, Colorado that invests in promising companies within the cannabis industry across multiple sectors, such as ancillary businesses, licensed marijuana businesses, hemp, and real estate. We manage a single source of private capital that we are actively investing in the cannabis market. Nancy Whiteman- (Wana Brands) Wana Brands is a leading maker of infused cannabis products with products carried in over 400 dispensaries. Nancy oversees sales and marketing efforts and lead a sales force that consistently grows Wana’s presence in every region of Colorado. As co-founder, she am responsible for strategic partnerships and licensing agreements domestically and internationally. She manage the company’s finance and accounting department and am responsible for the strategic vision of Wana Brands.
Travis Howard- (Shift Cannabis Co. & Green Dream) Mr. Howard splits his time between corporate management practices and the legal areas of dynamic entrepreneurial industries. He holds a Juris Doctrate from the University of Colorado School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University. Mr. Howard’s broad business background encompasses specialties in computer information systems, project operations control, and public speaking platforms. In addition, Mr. Howard’s diverse portfolio of professional experiences includes System Administrator roles, Office Director positions, CEO titles, and Board of Directors membership.
Alan Michael Kane- (Entrepreneur and Angel Investor) Alan is a serial entrepreneur, active angel investor and obsessed with building businesses. Alan’s experience ranges from recruiting founding teams, fundraising, leading M&A transactions to a listing (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange. Prior to founding DealerHQ, he founded Phunware, an award winning and globally recognized leader in both the mobile and connected device markets. Phunware enables brands to engage, manage and monetize their anytime anywhere users.
