While his name is Eric, we simply know him as “Shuff”.
It was actually a graphics class in high school that led Shuff to focus on making a career out of Graphic Communications. After attending Middle Tennessee State University, where he majored in Graphic Communications and minored in Marketing and Sociology, he continued to fine tune his user experience design skills in Nashville, TN.
Our design-minded, UX-focused teammate joined the Rockhouse family in October 2013. Hailing from the small town of Winchester, KY, Shuff is one of the biggest fans of the Nashville Predators, Kentucky Wildcats, Tottenham Hotspur, and Cincinnati Reds. His wide variety of sports allegiances is just another reason to love him. If you have a team that goes against any of his, be prepared to hear a little smack talk.
All joking aside, we already can’t remember what the company was like without him. Oh, he will sometimes bring delicious donuts to the office, too. That may be why we choose not to remember what it was like.
3 things you need to know about Shuff:
1.) Hockey aficionado. Favorite ice-themed movie: ‘Miracle’.
Not only is he a huge hockey fan, but he also plays. Shuff is a member of the Gnashvegas Deathclub that play out of Franklin, TN.
2.) Part of a team nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for digital coverage of the 2010 Nashville Flood.
Not only is he a talented designer, but Shuff was part of a team that produced great content in support of what was happening with the Nashville Flood.
3.) Passionate student of substantive and accessible design.
