Insurance Noodle has launched an integrated property and casualty facility for small contractors, bringing together several major carriers via a single access point. The program was designed to help agents working with contractors, such as handymen, landscapers and installers in managing their risk exposure.
According to Insurance Noodle CEO, Ted Devine, the program was driven by the need for an integrated contractors program. “For years the insurance industry has defined a program around one market with limited scope. Yet, as agents who serve small business owners everyday know, no single insurance company offers the best solution for every account.”
The new contractors facility leverages the Insurance Noodle proprietary technology platform to return multiple real-time quotes to the agent through a single integrated application.
The offering is designed primarily for general liability, commercial auto and workers’ compensation coverage. Available endorsements include faulty workmanship and contractors miscellaneous tools and equipment. Target classes include a full range of contractors including residential remodelers, flooring installers, home inspectors, heating ventilation and air conditioning installation and repair, and more.
Insurance Noodle is an online placement platform, delivering products to more than 6,000 agents and brokers throughout the United States, and their small business clients. Insurance Noodle provides independent agents with online access to insurance products, services and assistance through a single-entry, multi-carrier, multi-line, web-based portal that is supported by a team of licensed insurance producers.
Earlier this year, Insurance Noodle was acquired from Willis Group Holdings by Insureon, an online insurance delivery platform for small business owners. The entrance into the contractors segment is part of Insureon’s plan to grow Insurance Noodle, with its goal being to reach $100 million in premium this year.
