FunFest at Mayfair Church of Christ

Carnival Games, Climbing Tower, Hayrides, Trunk or Treat, Inflatables, Special Guests. Dinner served by local food trucks from 4-5:30PM. Closing devotional at 5PM. Children can wear costumes (no scary ones please). Bring canned goods to donate to the Inner City Food Pantry.

Grace UMC Family Fun Fest

Grace UMC’s Children’s Team is inviting the public to join them for food and fun times together. Activities include a campfire (bring on the s’mores!), Cake Walk, Petting Zoo, Games (with candy prizes), Face Painting, Raffle prizes, Hay Ride, and Costume Contest. There will be Corn Dogs and chips, Popcorn, Carmel Apples, and drinks. Plus, an outdoor movie on the BIG screen! Kids are encouraged to wear child-friendly costumes and bring something to put treats in. You will receive one free raffle ticket as you sign in for the event.

City of Decatur Harbor Halloween

This annual event provides kids a great trick or treating opportunity along with serving the community! Admission is 2 cans of food per person for the CCC. Carnival game tickets are just 4 / $1! Costume Contests, Games, Prizes and much more!

Halloween Party (All Ages)

MPL’s Youth Services Librarians present a brand new, original story: The Bravish Rabbit and the Not So Smart Raccoon. Everyone is invited to wear Halloween costumes, and children will be able to ‘trick or trick’ throughout the library after the puppet show.

Earlyworks Halloween Bash

Put on your costumes and join Earlyworks for Halloween games, crafts, and of course safe Trick or Treating at Alabama Constitution Village. Be sure to bring your trick or treating bags and enjoy safe halloween fun for all ages. $5.00 ($4.00 for members) for little ghosts and goblins, Adults are free! Pro-tip: Buy your tickets in advance to avoid the line.

Spooktacular Puppet Show & All Day Halloween Party

Halloween is here again, which means it’s time to trick-or-treat your library! Visit all 3 floors for some tasty treats and enjoy a scavenger hunt in Youth Services. PLUS…It’s a Halloween Spooktacular Puppet Show, featuring fun tales pulled from some of our favorite books, rhymes, and songs! Bring along the whole family to enjoy your Halloween treats and a show.

Downtown Rescue Mission Trunk or Treat

Huntsville Christian Church and the Downtown Rescue Mission invite you to join them for an evening filled with family-friendly fun and treats! There will be inflatables, games and an appearance by the Chick-fil-A cow, 88.1 WAYFM will be there PLUS the Huntsville Fire Department will be in attendance.

St. Mark’s Fall Festival

A fantastic event for the whole family. Join them for food, live music, games, prizes and fun! Wear your favorite costume and enjoy the afternoon before heading out to do your own trick-or-treating. They’ll serve hot dogs, fruit, snacks and sweets. They’ll have games for the young and old; face painting and hair spray. Meet a new friend and bring an old one – see you soon!

Publix & Kroger (Various Locations)

Each year local Publix & Kroger stores opens its doors to children dressed in costumes Halloween night to explore each department. They can decorate cookies in the bakery, play a game of golf in the produce section or get an ice cream cone in the frozen foods section. It’s fun. It’s cute and it’s free. The store also provides a treat bag at the front. Call your local store for details.

Willowbrook Baptist Church Fall Festival

Willowbrook’s annual Fall Festival comes complete with trunk or treat, hayride, carnival-style games and lots of fun! Free and open to the public, this event will be moved inside if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Madison’s Insane Nightmare on Skate Street

Trunk or treat from 5-10PM and participate in a costume contest, games and activities, treasure in a hay stack, best decorated pumpkin contest, pie eating contest, eye ball and spoon race, balloon scramble, graveyard golf and more. Some activities inside Insanity Park will require a fee.

Trick or Treating at Lowe Mill

Spooky Fun at Lowe Mill

Bring out your ghosts, ghouls and goblins – Trick-or-Treating at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment is BACK! Come celebrate Halloween with three floors of decorations, costumes, and candy. Kids are invited to come walk the historic mill building and trick-or-treat from participating open artist’s studios. Parents are encouraged to donate bags of candy upon entrance so artists will not run out of candy throughout the evening.
